You lied and got caught out there.

Your profit sharing was reduced by 33% for the payout for the year 2013.
Did you negotiate that or have a say in it?

Hmm, looks like you are going to get caught out there again:

http://skift.com/2013/09/05/deltas-improving-numbers-will-result-in-raises-for-nearly-80000-workers/

Atlanta-based Delta said it will give customer-facing employees raises of up to 3 percent effective April 1, following previous rounds of pay increases. Meanwhile, other employees will get raises of varying amounts from a 3 percent merit pool, based on performance and other factors.

And that was announced in September of 2013.

So you got a 3% raise in April of 2014 while your profit sharing was reduced by 33%.
So you went seven months without that 3% raise, so please explain how a 3% raise from April of 2014 till the end of 2014 is more than the 33% reduction for a 12 month period?

EXPLOREDelta Air Lines is paying its employees in Georgia a total of $450 million in profit-sharing bonuses, the company said.
So does this mean that only Ga based employees get to share a piece of that? If thats the case then what happen to rest of DL folks in the DL system?

"We're not against profit-sharing," IAM spokesman Joe Tiberi said. "In fact, we've negotiated it in many of our contracts, including Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines. But profit-sharing should not come in place of a high and guaranteed wage; it should be in addition to a high and guaranteed wage.

"I don't think (Anderson's unionized) pilots believe they would be better off non-union. They are the most highly paid pilots in the industry, but his flight attendants, they fall behind Southwest, Alaska, American. ... Delta is the most profitable airline in the industry by far. There's no reason why Delta Air Lines flight attendants should be making 26 percent less than Southwest flight attendants."

Baba if u want to compare FAs look at the contract the AA/US have now as well as what UA have it ought to be interesting if you truly want comparison then compare it to yours. Btw dl can change anything anytime as they see fit in a contract negotiations must take place in order for that to happen.

For 2014, your profit sharing pay-out is 16.58 percent. Combined with the last three years of profit sharing, 31.5 percent additional earnings have been generated for Delta employees. You deserve to share in the success that youve created, along with the entire Delta team. Im not aware of another company in America that has received this percentage of profit sharing. For the airline industry, its the highest in aviation history no one else has even come close to Delta.
Today's email from HR

How much are you getting 700?

Can you refute this?

If you are going to parrot someone at least give them credit.

We know that is a DL talking point post.

I have no problem with comparing with my peers at AA and UA.
Tell 700 that, he tries to compare us with Pilots.
Also concerming the threat of anything anytime ?
I have history on my side and it shows the relationship has worked pretty well
Overall compared to my peers at AA and UAL

Same here. Funny how we always hear calls for apples to apples comparisons.... Unless the company wants to use Commutair (or ExpressJet); then it's okay, I guess.... :roll eyes:

Well, to be fair, you've tried to compare your group with Commutair...

I'm more focused on improving the present and the future.

From a DL FA:

Just to let everyone know--PBS has been down for several hours along with parts of DLNET. If you are trying to bid, it has just come back up. I have called the supervisors at ICC to let them know and don't bother to call them. I did and Faye, the first person I spoke with, laughed when I told her that the extension to 12 should be extended further with the time outage that had occurred around 6 pm west coast time. She laughed and laughed. I was not amused that she was amused. ....and you know where this is going....her supervisor, Dewayne Higdon, is suppose to call me tomorrow asap. I know Dewayne from DFW. Great guy. Now he can explain why Faye thinks not being able to bid is funny; why Faye doesn't have a last name; why Faye can't give out her employee number even though she has my last name and employee number and an employee number is only good within a company; why Faye doesn't think it's necessary to have IT know about an outage and lastly why Eddie did such a great job listening and understanding what I was reporting (a new outage) and he didn't think it was funny but wanted to make sure that IT knew about it.
Dunno about PBS specifically, but DLNet itself is down again this morning...

as if you are capable of creating even 1% of the stuff you post.

I just think its better to compare DL UA and AA and SW rather than Commuter Air
it is significant that the comparison of IAM represented FAs DOES NOT include any large jet carriers.

apparently the number of accesses grows with the size of profit sharing.

I don't recall systems issues being this bad in the past.

guess some people have to take two, three, and four looks to confirm how big the numbers are.

gross profit sharing totaling nearly 2 months worth of salary is very, very rare.
