Okay, so what exactly does the phrase "competitive and flexible" mean? What specific accruals do other carriers get?BABABOOY said:IAM CLAIM
Delta's sick time is a fraction of other airlines', including ExpressJet, pre-merger United, pre-merger Continental, American, and Southwest.

FACT
The IAM is trying to mislead you again. The truth is Delta’s PPT is very competitive and flexible compared to that of flight attendants within our competitive set.
Here are the facts:
• Flight attendants can earn a maximum of 49 hours of PPT a year. They can use PPT for any reason, not just for personal illness, and can choose to receive a cash payout of unused PPT. The average PPT payout for flight attendants in 2014 was $1,439.
• Flight attendants can also choose to rollover up to 147 hours of unused PPT. Once the max is reached, they can choose to rollover unused PPT to build Certified Time Banks up to 150 days for 100% pay protection on full-time absences lasting more than 7 days.
• Flight attendants can elect to roll one week of vacation into their PPT bank.

do you have a rough idea of your coworkers end up with EXTRA time off because of DL's PPT program above what they use for sick time?

Can OAL F/As not roll their accrued sick time over? How 'bout their vacation? OJI time (remember, that's one we don't get at all)?
Linguistics are fun, but real comparisons often tell a different story.
i gave you my personal experience. and yes I do know PPT isn't new. Where did that come from?WorldTraveler said:and baba, as you know the PPT program is not new.... and there have been many people who have benefitted with extra pay or an increased bank which can still be used for personal use, not just sick time.
even sick time which is rolled over at other airlines is still just sick time.
Why don't you ever question 700's charts and graphs?Kev3188 said:Okay, so what exactly does the phrase "competitive and flexible" mean? What specific accruals do other carriers get?
