Back up with facts that you know what DL will do!
it's called common sense.
Kev said for years that DL paid premium wages to keep the unions out.
and yet now we have all kinds of people, Kev included, who think that DL will just keep shoveling money out even with unions.
why would DL have spent the money they did if they didn't really care about the results? and if they do care, why would they all of a sudden get along swimmingly - and their CEO have said that FAs that vote in a union would be destroying the DL culture?
You seem some people can't accept that this DL culture that they hate has dollar signs attached to it and they have been the beneficiary of those dollars. If they think they can do better, by all means do soo.... but don't think they won't regret their choice and find that the good old days really were.... of DL culture and compensation.'
and they won't be able to go back to them.
and more significantly, it is the same group of people who couldn't work with their own mgmt. at NW who are pushing for unionization at DL.
Why should any DL employee look at those people as examples of success given how successful NW was in "putting the unions in their place?"
suppose that the MSP FAs will still think it was good idea when all of their int'l trips are worked as ATL trips? Don't think for a minute that DL could do all kinds of things to quickly isolate the problem.
and the same goes for ACS and could well involve some or all of those stations that DL has preserved as part of merger.
You people are really not very smart if you don't think that DL has a laundry list of ways it will ensure the union movement is cut off before it even finds its feet.
Some of the rank and file.
and a whole lot of national union influence.
