Still see you ignored the fact that DL's FAs and ACS are not the highest paid.
So why are you ignoring the fact your lying when you state, DL Pilots are the highest paid in the industry?

My own financial interest?
do you have pension benefits accrued under the IAMNPF?

then yes you do have financial interests

and you have been paid by the IAM before, whether you are receiving any pay now or not.

And yet that's exactly what you're doing...

Weird...
the status quo at DL is working for their employees - by their own choice.

If it didn't, I would be the first to argue that they should seek a union if it resulted in higher compensation.

The status quo FOR THE INDUSTRY is that DL compensates its employees better than average for the industry.

You used to argue that DL paid to keep the unions out. Why haven't we seen that phrase any more?

I suspect you are right - but DL employees don't care the reason WHY they are paid as much as they are just that they are paid better.

The union is ALWAYS going to be at a disadvantage given that the company controls the purse strings.

Nope I don't have an IAMPF, my pension is with the PBGC, as it was terminated in bankruptcy.

Being paid by the IAM in the past has zero to do with anything.

I was an officer and a representative, last time I received any compensation was they asked me eight years after I left to work the IBT raid from June of 2013 till September of 2013.

Throw out another red herring.

I'm glad you revealed that you don't have any pension benefits with the IAMNPF.

Others on here that support the IAM do.

interesting that you were officially away from IAM business for a longer time than I have been gone from DL.

A retirement check doesnt count.

I wasnt cutoff I left on my own accord and I was still in contact with my old IAM friends, and was called numerous times on issues that I handled when I was there, so they did call upon my expertise at times when needed.

All old news and all intentionally being asked to divert the discussion away from the subject at hand.

For those that have forgotten-or are purposely trying to derail it- the topic is both representation campaigns currently underway on the DL property...

I left on my own accord
thank you.

yes,
we do realize what the topic is.

problem is that you don't realize that DL employees actually ARE the highest paid airline employees on an ASM basis.

while other carriers spend more on shiny jets and fuel, DL saves money in those areas so it can spend the most per ASM ON ITS EMPLOYEES.

http://www.skywriteraviation.aero/2015/08/13/2q-us-mainline-carrier-prasm-vs-casm/

no wonder your peers have no interest in unions.... choosing the "status quo" union model would result in pay cuts for them.

Like any employee cares about their pay in regard to ASMs.

Your grasping.

Funny thing at US and CO during the negotiations, the company and union financial experts NEVER brought up ASM in regards to pay and compensation.

I don't expect employees to know or care about their pay per ASM.

but DL employees DO rank at or near the top of the industry in absolute pay anyway.

and the data does confirm that DL doesn't spend its money on aircraft at the expense of employees AND its fuel strategies also ensure that DL has money for its employees, not for oil companies.

We never hear anyone giving credit for DL saving money on its supplier expenses so it can pay its employees but that is exactly what they do... better even than WN.
