Grassroots Efforts at DL for ACS and FAs, no personal attacks.

so you are finally admitting that the IAM has paid DL FAs to organize? There is a DOL document that shows it.... which pretty well says this wasn't a sweet little grassroots campaign at all.

I have no idea if anyone is paid, I don't work for the IAM nor am I involved in the DL campaigns.

And it is grassroots, the majority of the work is done by DL FAs, they approached the IAM not the other way around.

If you were a FA or an active employee you would know this.

Kip was an employee at will the IAM did not represent him as they cant by law, he isnt an IAM member nor covered under a CBA, why dont you ask Delta why they paid him off?

Southwind a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I know that there are paid IAM organizers among DL employees. There is a DOL document dated March 24, 2015 and signed by David Supplee and Ianthe Anderman that have the names of DL employees on it. That is not a grassroots effort.

Kip and DL settled for any number of reasons. Since neither will say and didn't admit anything to each other, it is pure speculation that he was paid off.

and your comment to southwind simply reinforces that your statement about no personal attacks is just as false as that this is a grassroots campaign.

It is grassroots they aren't IAM nor District 142 employees.

They are probably being reimbursed for expenses.

nope... they are listed as employees under SCHEDULE 12 - DISBURSEMENTS TO EMPLOYEES. Thousands of dollars of pay under category (D) Gross Salary Disbursements (before any deductions). It is not expenses.

There are also tens of thousands of dollars of expenses at ATL and NYC hotels.

Wait! If this Kip Dude was illegally fired, and a pure bread union Dude, "Who stands with his union brethren, through thick and thin" shouldn't of he fought for his job back...
He did. He utilized every avenue we have available to us in ACS before going to court.

Can you name them? Shouldn't be too hard; it's a short list.

So is time! Why are you here?

yes, I can.

will I do it on a public website? no more than I would name the names of anyone on here.

Given that there are names on that list that are DL employees and since there are tens of thousands of dollars of expenses at ATL and NYC (JFK) hotels that have been paid for by IAM funds, it is all the more hypocritical to call this a grassroots effort

ps. I doubt very seriously that the employer of those people whose names are on the list are unaware of the DOL filing... which even further destroys the notion that DL is out to get any employee that is involved in any organizing efforts.

It never ceases to amaze me how in any given campaign people dig around, invariably wind up somewhere like "union facts.com," and think they've found some smoking gun.

99 times out of 100 they're so excited at the idea of being the new Woodward & Bernstein that they don't even realize they're basically looking at the labor version an expense report.

in this case, I was asking another user to list the recourse options an ACS employee has when faced with an unjust termination. It's an easy question, even for him/her.

except it isn't on some anti-union site. it is directly from an IAM filing with the DOL. You see, 700 has repeatedly demonstrated that he likes government data when it talks about how much unionized employees make compared to their non-union counterparts.

Problem is that he won't accept government data that shows that DELTA employees have done better in improving their total compensation compared to their peers at other airlines and that DL employees are very quickly closing the pay gap with WN employees, most of whom are still stuck in lengthy and unproductive negotiations with mgmt.

and the government data that I am referencing to here specifically shows that there are Delta employees who are also being paid AS EMPLOYEES of the IAM while also employees of DL.

I understand perfectly the way the system works.

How about you just be honest that this campaign is funded by the IAM which has expended hundreds of thousands of dollars to attempt to organize DL employees?

It is not grassroots in the least.

Since the only people who can answer a question about DL policies would have to be a DL employee, how about you ask them directly? There aren't many of them on here since the conversation is driven by IAM organizers who have been paid in the past and those who support the IAM either as former or active IAM members, some of whom also have clear financial interests with the IAM, including participating in their pension plan.

You are clueless of course it's grassroots the majority of the work is done by DL FAs not IAM staff.

Is it too hard for you to grasp that concept?

But hey you will throw out anything that distracts from the real message and cause.

You truly are ignorant on how organizing campaigns work.
