A couple of questions from an outsider.

I've visited the websites for both slates and I was curious about the positions on the "sure to be" main topics at the upcoming Grand Lodge Convention.

I know dues is high on eveyones lists but what are the positions that each slate is getting behind?

Electronic balloting. this was a hot button issue when I was still under the IAM at UAL before AMFA. What are the slates positions on this? (I was suprised it wasn't electronic already)

If these have been answered previously my apologies, I haven't been able to locate anything specifically on them.

Thanks

TSH

Well according to Randy's pre arranged script . He's not for it. (it makes it harder to control elections)

as far as the New Direction ticket . since there are for democracy would think they would be open to have an avenue to get

more membership involved.

goodfella,
PREACH ON MY BROTHER PREACH ON >. Loyalty is 1 thing they will get from CLT FOLK. As long as your

straight and honest the southern crowd will embrace. Something RC never learned down here His "I"m the DON" tactics

are laughable. wonder if RE enough knows what the excess baggage charge is..........

How bout shocker/district force and all the wannabe Canalites . when's the implementation Committee coming to CLT .

would love to hear what they have to say.
'
O MAN, you already know the answer.NO BALL's! They cannot look at any of the membership in their eye's. Where are they? Where have they been? Why do they hide from the very people they are supposed to represent? Funny how the truth alway's comes to the surface!

Careful what you ask for US you just might get it. Too bad Delaney wasn't assigned to CLT as the AGC he would make JR look like F. Lee Bailey

Beetle Bailey maybe.. JR. enjoys sucking down the beers to much to answer his phone.

Why do you even care? You have made it clear what you are about, and who you support! Boss DELANEY showed with sincere interest why he is in the running! It is about the membership! What their concerns are, and being accessible accountable and reliable. He was all that today with ND08. Where is randaroo? You can't even find Jeff R. trying to save face for the current incumbent's! SAD SO SAD. Instead of relating to the little guy,(membership) they will take the LOW road and try to slam and smear ND08 to make themselves look good. Well CLT saw real people that want to do for them that should have been done before. REPRESENT the membership to the best of their abilities. Hat's off to ND08 thank's to Rich Delaney,John Medeiros, Brad Burson,MR. Stenberg, Laura Stone, Mike Crowell and the whole grievance committee but most importantly, thank you CLT membership for the warm and respectable welcome you showed ND08!!!!!!
Why do I care? Unlike some, I do not have tunnel vision. Yes, I've made my decision to vote for the districts slate. I am still a union member and if the majority of the membership prefers new direction 08, I will still be a union member. Would you mind sharing a little of your boss Delaneys message? You stated what their concerns are, did he go into detail?
Thanks, please take a deep breath and count to ten first as you are passionate in your beliefs! (no disrespect intended)

F. Lee Bailey? What a high standard that is... NOT. If that is someone that the RC supporters look up too they need to pick someone else.

On the dues issue, both slates are against. The difference is the pro district supporters are attending to make their voice heard a strong no to increases. The Delaney slate is boycotting it due to facing conflict.

electronic balloting? Should have been many years ago, all sides can agree to that.

Thanks for the info.

Hard to believe one would stand against electronic balloting, its no longer "new technology". The NMB uses it, and I'd believe the various unions from all sectors would've been all over it looking for cracks.

Should be interesting to see the results at the convention.

I saw somewhere a proposal for 2% of monthly base pay, is that still the only proposal going forward?

As hot button of a topic that dues always is, I'd expect alot of changes/ammendments before the final product is revealed.

Randy has discussed this issue and gave his opinion. My understanding is that he mentioned once the wrinkles are ironed out we would have it (that's my understanding but not his exact words, watch his video for explanation)

I agree, if the new direction is for democracy you would think they would be for it. The problem I'm having with the new direction is that they are not committing their beliefs on any of these issues, nor offering any issues and how they would resolve them if elected. We are voting next week and their website comical take against the districts slate is entertaining but not the way I want my officers to behave when dealing with my livelyhood.

Three drive by postings and all are from the same person using different names but all are from Shocker.

This is the 21 century millions of people bank and carry out electronic transactions everyday. RC can't manipulate the results of an electronic vote so therefore he doesn't want it.
