I hope with the New Direction team we are able to implement a modern voting process. Whether it be by mail or electronically.

You have to follow the constitution and make a proposal at this years grand lodge convention to add electronic voting.

In the wake of the collapsed talks, one of the sources said there is a feeling at US Airways that they were strung along by United during the process.

Since following this board from last sept......it's been amazing just how continually wrong these long time posters here have been time and time again......It must be exhausting to be wrong over and over and over. I know I'm exhausted to have read the drivel from such "highly intelligent , corporate merger expert, contract law brainiac ------BAGGAGE HANDLERS " Have you noticed how the longer you are on this board and the more posts you have the more obtuse you are......I can practically feel the brain cells dying the more I'm here reading one inane post after another....

I'm just glad the brain dead were in short enough numbers for us all to benefit from the new contract and that most of us working here know how foolish these long time posters are. My advice to the west guys if you insist on returning to read their posts is to know how wrong they always seem to be and to just feel some pity for them, for they are very tired bitter employees who will be going off to their sunset soon I think. Enjoy the pay raise and the pay parity that they did not want you to have.

But now that the work is done and we did get this deal through I bid adieu and implore those tired bitter easties to please get some help, it's not too late. For one, get off this board and save the very few remaining brain cells you have left. I'll be back in a year just for a quick post to once again remind them how wrong they have been and continue to be on just about everything.....till then .....

What a great little ditty that was. Unfortunately our M.T. Suit & his thugs never heard this song. Imagine that. The leader of our union and he continues to this very week to use non union labor to facilitate his campaign. Maybe he's to busy flying around on "Global Services" passes campaigning to notice that his campaign manager has stuck it to him again.

Let's recap.

The Commander of Concession allows fueling, kitchens, lav service, cabin cleaning and several stations to be scabbed out. Then has the nerve to have stone face try and organize the scabs.

The Great Ass #### cans his union secretaries and contracts their work out to a scab outfit. He makes his secretary pay bogus dues to Denver to avoid a scandal.

His number one lap dog(Robyn) called the police in ORD when they were organizing her classification. Now she thinks she's UAL's version of Norma Rae.

Now a week before the carnage starts The Great Ass and his band of misfits are littering the system with stickers, fliers, and posters with all kinds of nonsense on them. The only thing you won't find on any of that garbage is????? Drum roll please! That's right the union bug.

These morons, fighting for their political lives and telling you what great unionists they are, can't even use a union printer for their literature. The only thing we found with a bug on it was a copy of an official ballot circulating the system. This ballot explains how to fill the ballot out correctly for TEAM 2008. Look, I told you people back on April 7th on this forum that United was going to buy US AIRWAYS, Parker was going to be the CEO of the combined company and that it would be announced the 3rd week of May. I even acted to change my personal investments over this information.
Am I a prophet? No. But I heard it from "TOP PRIMARY SOURCES" before all this Continental talk and Delta/NW talk. I personally believe the Continental stuff was a manufacturization of the media as United was NEVER in serious talks with them.

Secondly, the reason why they are holding back on the announcement until May is because of the critical tentative agreements it reached with two IAM units, whose votes will be May 8th.

At any rate, this merger is the metaphorical equivalence of two drunks holding eachother up.

The westies get more benefits than the east siders in fleet also. Last I checked, the east siders didn't even get paid if they called in sick, yet they still gave up a large portion of their profit sharing to the westies, and will most likely give up the winning arbitration lotto ticket to help preserve a dozen stations out west that only have a combined membership of a couple hundred folks. I haven't heard many east siders complain, I'm just mentioning the facts.
I'm not sure how the westies can think they are getting the short end of the stick unless they all have the "you owe me" mentality. In which case, nothing would suffice.

looks like US is dramatically cutting flights in SEP. anybody have more proof? our schedule is getting cut by a couple departures a week in aug and I heard vegas dropping a ton in Sep. Any truth to this?
