You were not going to be recalled when the IAM proposals that the co. would have saught and was planned for your group entailed complete elimination of utility (1018) and almost 1700 mechanics. AFA have analyst that were told what each labor group job losses were projected before our talks began.

Had nothing to do with BK. Your IAM reps knew this. That's why they kept the door closed as long as possible.

Since recalls in my work group are handled through targeted selection (or should I say was handled through targeted selection), in lieu of seniority, I had a pretty decent shot of getting recalled should an opening come up. I don't see any openings for some time after all this now.
