Obama is re-writing the book on epic failures and rookie blunders. He's an absolute embarrassment. He goes on the G20 and comes back with nothing. The rest of world see's him for what he really is. An idiot.

Seems to me that he is trying to build up good will and is attempting to undo the damage done previously. Contrary to popular US belief, the US cannot dictate to sovereign nations what they can or must do. If the US wants something, we must give in return. Short of invading Iran, pressure is the only option the world has of stopping Iran from getting a nuke. Given that Iran and the rest of the ME is pretty pissed off at us right now, the rest of the world is not too concerned about a mushroom showing up in their back yard. Something we should have considered before pissing them off even further.

Since when should we give a rip about terrorist supporting nations? They dont give a crap about good will. They kill because they hate, because thats what they do. Thats what the Quran tells them. It is Allahs will. Denying it by offering a handshake to terrorists will only result in it being chopped off. They could care less about Obama or whoever is in office.

You let me know how that works out for you Piney. I do hope it works out a little better than Afghanistan or Iraq did. You think the US can take out Iran and not suffer repercussions? What do you think will happen to all the oil that we get out of the ME? Do you think we will see any of it again? At what price? Do you not think other countries in the ME might be just a wee bit pissed off? Do you not think the terrorist organizations in the ME will not have a rush to sign up and fight the evil US?

BTW, aren't you the oe who posts all the libertarian stuff? Last I checked Iran has never threaten the US, and even if they did, do you think it is a credible threat? The Mulas know damn well what will happen if Iran were to attack the US or Israel. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a talking head like Rush or Oberman. He keeps the radical masses happy.

Also, last time I checked, Iran is a sovereign nation. Iran can no more tell us what to do than the other way around. I don't like the idea of Iran having nukes any more than I like the idea of the US having nukes. There are people on both sides who are far to willing to use a nuke on the other. You open that can of worms, I have no interest in being around when it all hits the fan. This is not 1945 where the US is the only nation with a nuke. Lost of folks have them now, hell some may have them and we don't even know it.

Were I Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and I got your letter, I would be laughing my ass off. I know you nor any other nation will launch a nuke as a first strike with out any provocation. I know you don't have the military to open up a 3rd war becasue you have not even got enough to end the 2 you have going on now. Your nation is dependent on oil from my region of the country and I know you will not jeopardize that. I saw what $5 fuel did to your nation. Do you want to risk double or triple that cost? Nah. You screwed up with Afghanistan and Iraq. If you had finished Afghanistan and had all your GI's home and battle ready, I might think twice. As it stands now, you can kiss my ass. What about the nations who do not support terrorists? BTW, does not talking to Iran or who ever help the situation any? I do not see how not talking does any good. Talking may not do any good either but we will not know till we try. I dissagree with your assessment. After 9/11 moat of the world was offering us aid. Cuba offered us aid. Libya as well. We had an opportunity to build relationships where none existed. We had the opportunity to be humble, thank the countries for their aid build on it. Nahhh lets go invade Iraq which had nothing to do with 9/11. Lets do that against the wishes of the rest of the world. Yea, that's the way to cash in on the sympathy from 9/11. That worked out so well didn't it.

It's a lot easier to kick the butt of a bully who everyone hates than to kick a innocent person who has done nothing wrong. The crowd will join in on the bully, they wil more times than not come to the defense of the innocent.
