Yes, yes indeed...and "there's no place like home" and "all is well". 😉
You know damn well the intent to use final and binding arbitration. You can piss and moan over your personal perception of "fairness" but you really can't deny you we're afforded a fair process to make your case.

The more times the West chooses to refuse to be involved in the process the more clear it is that USAPA did everything they could to help the West help themselves.

When this is all over don't forget the many times the West berated the East for not working with Mr. Nicolau after he told both parties to go back and return with more options to help him out in his decision.

The flaw with your argument is that this thing ended with final and binding arbitration. Any effort the west makes to mitigate that decision would indicate that we are as willing as the east to undermine the legal process. We aren't.

1) Not the worst school out there really...but...I suppose you have that beat, especially with your impressive record that resulted in twice failing admission to med school(s)?

2) So then: How did you get your Guard slot?....Certainly not from knowing anyone of course, but purely on your effervescent wit, charm and personality? 🙂

Regarding med school: at least I tried. Regarding the guard, I knew no one.

You've previously claimed that fully HALF of the "qualified" applicants interviewed at AWA couldn't even pass a sim check! Would you care to elaborate a bit more on exactly what degree of draconian "real standards" were in place there? 😉

Prechill has already stated, 5000hrs, 121 pic time and a difficult sim check. That was the standard when I was hired too. What don't you understand?

The fact the West pilots continue to fall back on the argument that there is no one to represent them is an easy out. They have no problem suing with Leonidas, and hiring lawyers, meeting, organizing, producing videos, mailers etc. They have a well organized mechanism of organization to pursue what they want, and then fall back on what you just said. At this point, nobody cares anymore if they don't organize to work something out. That train is leaving the station as I see it. Let the chips fall where they soon will. Cannot help those who do not try themselves.

Think hard. We litigate through Leonidas because its purpose is to protect our interests. Mitigating the Nic does not, so why would we pay to negotiate against our interests. We are not obligated to do so and never will.

Many posters have repeatedly said that Hummel, Cleary, or other representatives have approached the West to discuss possible solutions. And many West posters have boasted that the West WILL NOT talk. The West position that they will not engage in talks because they don't trust there is a possibility to get what they want from such talks, is far different than saying no talks were ever offered.

Looks like another "ripeness" issue. Refusing to talk and find out what can be solved, and jumping to the conclusion that the talks will result in harm. You all should be very familiar with the concept of "ripeness".

Change ucrapa's CB&L's before you chant "ripeness". Otherwise your intent is clear and your argument is moot.

"Poof in the desert wind" ...

"They clung fiercely to the Nic until they went poof in the desert wind"

A fitting epitaph.
When your former west pilot leans to the right across the pedestal in the 330 and goes "poof" in your face, remember this post.

Show me the resolution deleting all references to DOH in the Constitution and you may have a slim chance of beginning your monologue. Otherwise "Poss Iff" (oops, got the vowels mixed up).

No, you did it to yourselves trying to push the Nic. There is a middle ground somewhere, that now will never be found.
Remember, the clock has run out, the game is over and the score is East 3 West 1 and you want to try to renegotiate so that you can improve the spread and win the wagers you placed.

If you don't think that would work in Vegas, why do you suppose it would work in Charlotte?

Parker, during the earnings call when asked about the ruling, stated that it did not answer the problem or help the company move forward and that there would be NO contract without further resolution.

Its all in the call.

But please, by all means, feel free to negotiate. LMAO.

I think that is where the west is missing the point big time. Over and over they toss out the "LOA 93 for 2 more years" By far and wide margins from what i see on the line the east prefers LOA 93 and its attrition over anything with NIC in it. Its been going on for 7 years and in several union elections it is clear that they do not want anything to do with NIC.

I am positive USAPA and the east would like to come up with a middle ground with the west, that I can see on the line everyday also. but the LOA 93 threat means nothing to the east if its that or the nic. 7 years clearly shows the NIC is worse for them.

Have you watched the crew news yet? If I were a west pilot and could put away the emotions for the 45 mins or so it takes to watch it I would have only one thing to say "Oh Sh%t the company is content to watch the west wither up and go poof in the desert wind"

Yes, you are right. The average line guy here would never take a contract with the Nic. We can and will wait it out. The attrition is kicking in as we speak.
