And just what "misery" would you fantasize that to be? 🙂 Sorry punk. I enjoy life...just haven't much tolerance for greedy punks, cowards, both, self-obsessed, slimy opportunists,....or the whole nic business in general.

Have a fine night dreaming of your nic. 😉

Man, your droning works better than melatonin.

Good night boo.

You east guys are not going to like what is coming at you from the company in judge Silvers court now.

It would appear that Parker is reaching the end of his patience with usapa and this whole seniority thing.

I imagine the feeling is mutual.

Parker has an extra $120 mil a year to calm his nerves courtesy of LOA 93. Appealing Judge Silver will do nothing to bring this impass to an end, but I'd bet doughnuts to navy beans they file one. Then we will see how frayed his nerves are over the seniority issue.

If he doesn't like it, why won't he negotiate? Seniority is ONE SECTION! Short answer is he is satisfied right where he is.

[background=transparent]Parker could literally offer us the Kirby Proposal X 2 tomorrow and still be even money going forward over the course of a 3-4 year contract. Parker could have ended this a long time ago. But Parker thought he was being clever - and for a time he was. However, the current status quo and labor stalemate will yield him greatly diminishing returns in a merger scenario as members of the UCC wonder what's been going on in his own back yard as he maneuvers to run a combined world class operation. God I hope you are right! Parker is a friend to no one and certainly no different than Horton.

I disagree. Parker has a great thing going, he doesn't need a contract and just fine with how things are going. Note how Parker refers to the seniority issue in the last crew news: an unresolved dispute over seniority. He grand stands that this problem is between two labor groups and he is just caught in the middle waiting on the sidelines. He is basically correct, but what he fails to mention is that labor (east and west) hasn't much incentive to sign a new contract which would end this problem. Either way, we have to have a contract to end this and that is where Parker's responsibility comes in which is beyond seniority lists. With what the company has offered, who in their right mind would sign on to a substandard, multi year contract? Throw Delta + 10% with Nicolau or DOH and the contract passes with 75%+.
I think Judge Silver saw through the company bull$4it

No. Parker is not appealing the ruling yet. Bob has another trick up his sleeve. That may come later but the timer on the appeal has not even started yet.

$120 mil per year is nothing compared to a multi billion dollar deal or Parkers reputation of his ability to finish a deal.

He does not want to negotiate seniority and usapa has not given him a LUP to accept anything other than the Nicolau.

I would say that Parker has painted himself into a shrinking box and over played his hand. Judge Silver may not be done yet.

Excellent observations Pre, and largely agreed with here (zero sarcasm of any sort intended) most especially: "I disagree. Parker has a great thing going, he doesn't need a contract and just fine with how things are going." and "With what the company has offered, who in their right mind would sign on to a substandard, multi year contract?"

With a possible transaction with American involved; I would say that you woefully underestimate the size of the box and playground.
