As always you've got the facts all wrong Claxon. Didn't you see the adress? It was 2002 USAir Dr. That was the AWA fire department. You forgot to post part 2 of the video. It's where after the fires out and the firefighters are trying to salvage what's inside, the home owners try and steal the fire truck. Talk about ungratefull.

Weak, unoriginal analogy. So Franke management taught. You are a wanna be real airline employee, the america west branding will follow you and your resume eternally.

Your emperor wore no clothes back then. An ATSB loan in 2002, which he was the first to apply for, saved his dui rump.

You don't read much other than this web board and USAPA propaganda do you? Doug got handed the company just prior to 911. His quick actions saved the company. If he hadn't neither you or I would have a job, because there would have been no AWA and hence no US Airways. The governent made money off that loan and it was paid off early. Spin away great USAPA worshiper of the mighty Swingline.

Thank you for the links and the facts to back up your opinions, this is important, because everyone has one.

That's too funny Claxon. You better hope the company doesn't fold because all the pilots I know at Southwest, Delta, and Alaska, don't think too highly of the east. Me, well I've got several thousand 121 PIC and if that's not an option there's always counting beans🙂

The world's not flat. Would you like a link, o' most intelligent one.

Bean

I am sorry, I was so taken aback about the southwest, delta and other pilots who may not like the east, the peer pressure overwhelmed me. The last post, is never the most intellect. Your are a bean counter, show some.

It is the East franchise that carries this place. You are just riding our coattails.

Well.... after we saved you from ch7 bk and certain oblivion we thank you for allowing us to ride your coattails. It's the least you can do.

What a load of unmitigated, completely biased crap from scumbags trying their very best to steal jobs that they were totally unable to achieve on their own merits.

Of course their frustration is understandable considering that they have to live the rest of their lives in the humiliating realization that the very BEST they ever achieved on their own merits was to get hired by the very worst dirtbag airline in the country.

You have got to love it...

Yeah. When I was hired on at AWA US Airways was furloughing..... again! Clearly on its way out. AWA was growing, hiring, expanding, buying new aircraft. Their base was/is in a place most people wish to retire to. They had the best safety record, the best training, and some of the nicest people in the airline industry. The pay was less than other airlines but the work rules were far better. Quality of life goes a long way in this industry.

I turned FEDEX down when i realized i couldn't do nights. Turned down Northwest after getting stuck in MSP during a blizzard when I went to interview - I won't commute and wouldn't want to live in MSP or DTW. Quality of life goes a long way in this industry.

Like many of my peers at AWA I really don't have to live the rest of my life with the humiliating realization that the very BEST I could ever have achieved was getting hired by the very worst dirtbag airline in the industry. I simply chose quality of life over a bigger paycheck.

I never once considered AWA a dirtbag operation but ALWAYS considered US Airways a dirtbag operation because I was born and raised on the east coast and that simply was common knowledge amongst the population.

You eastholes are so full of yourselves and for the life of me I can't understand why. You just gotta love it!

Do you really need links to provide you proof of what is truly common knowledge? Try google. They are facts, but we all know you wouldn't belive them if they were handed to you anyway.

Attention forum readers. Little JJ is not furloughed. He was hired in 1999. One year after Johnny Mac. Five years before Mitch Vaselino.

Hired in 1999. That explains a lot.

No wonder he is so frustrated, trying to steal other people's jobs.

If you ALWAYS thought USAirways was a dirt bag operation, then you must be barely out of your teenage years. ALWAYS is a long time for me and others. USAirways was once Piedmont and PSA, not just USAir or Alleghany. Were the former dirt bag operations? Were their employees worthless? What east coast population are you referring to that thought of Piedmont the way you obviously do?

Stop making sh#t up.

If he is who you are alluding to he isn't so little. Be careful, oh smarmy one.

Or what? Your mighty little "army" of "dire wolves", "knights" and of course "spartans" that have so proven themselves in "many battles" during "war" with all their "valor", will indeed burst forth from The Enchanted Forest? 🙂

Grow Up!
