The nic is dead. What do you say to the west pilots that you promised damage awards to. What do you say to the 40 plus pilots that will not be included in the amr list. You are real brave flying around your wide body rc 747 america west plane.

It must be convenient to blame others for your shortcomings.

No one has promised the west pilots anything, other than to serve and tell the truth. It's funny that state it's "convenient to blame others for your shortcomings.."

That's interesting, especially since you've had people posting here that they expected to individually receive a half million dollars in "damages". How were those type of fantasies initially generated? Why, even nic4us has noted an expectation of literally "billions in damages" for your little group. Who feeds your people that kind of insane BS?

So then; who is it that actually hands out the "commissions" into your little "army" of "spartans" and/or dubs all the noble "knights" out there? 😉 When nobly swearing to tell the truth and nothing but the truth; does one place his/her hand on the holy nic document it's self?...or perhaps just a pile of "Integrity Matters" T-shirts? From the expressed eloquence of your noble "knight" Move2CLT; it's a safe bet that no Bibles are involved.

Be fair! No one out west had yet annointed any "spartans", dubbed any "knights", or even printed up "Integrity Matters" T-shirts at that time. It's clearly taken the blessing of St. Nic himself to make all their souls pure and perfect .

Grasping at straws? No. I am willing to bet that traderjake has been wise with money, as have I. While most of you eastholes have been clinging to the tailfeathers of their rustbucket airline, hoping for someone to save them so that they can maintain the "status" of an airline pilot others were wise enough to do something else or, at least, move on to a better airline job.

I flew with several former east pilots, some who quit east and some who were furloughed and came to AWA to a better airline job. Those guys had their act together. From what I gather from some of trader's posts I am willing to bet he doesn't really need this job.

Guys like you..... clingers. Angry at themselves because they were too lazy to help themselves when they could. Jealous of those who did.
 
Wow. Another page of claxhole and east(hole)us slithering under the bar of stupidity. The same tired arguments of Ansett/scab, drugrunner/scab and spartan/knights, integrity/t-shirts. At least these lame fools didn't tell us to grow up today. That would be redundant.

Did you read the article? Now, I wasn't at America West when this happened, but everything I've read said that those pilots quit, they didn't strike. Now maybe you feel some sort of connection with them since you've done something equaly as stupid. They were no more scabs than the east is. Does that mean all the AWA pilots that call the east pilots scabs are right? I don't think so.

No joke there. Oh well...I suppose someone has to take them seriously. It's been awhile since I've been able to do so. "Spartans" in some imaginary "Army" was bad enough, but I think it was the "dire wolves" that finally did it for me. 😉

What new has happened in the last 5 years?

The Nicolau award is still the seniortiy list per the TA, we're still on LOA 93, and USAPA still says they will deliver DOH and an industry standard contract.

Where did the idea that the MDA boys were going to kill the Nicolau?
 
Details on United's new TA are available on the United ALPA website. Numerous improvements, and pay raises of up to 38%, depending on equipment flown and whether you were Continental Legacy or United Legacy. Pay rate for an Airbus 320 Captain (12 years and above) goes from $137/hour to $189/Hour upon Date of Signing, and up an additional 8 1/2% on 1-1-2014. That's $205/hour! Plus they have lots of other incentive pay, and other paid expenses included in this new agreement. This just shows how incredibly FAR BEHIND the US Airways pilots are. Pathetic, and getting worse as all the other airlines get new agreements.

It's probably a very good thing you are taking so much time off. Can't say you'd be a whole lot of fun to work with.
