Unlike you, we understand Judge Silver's ruling because we read it and we aren't upset. You also won't see us claiming to have won something like those clueless eastholes who don't know wtf they're talking about.

I have read it about 8 times. When someone, east or west, raises a point I go back and look and see what I think about it.

Have you actually read any of nic4us' posts? The contents of my B.S. file that I shared the other day? I do believe that several of those were your declarative statements, weren't they?

According to MSNBC we underestimate the magnitude of his achievement.

So funny. Saw the balloon yesterday going East out of PHX, just past El Paso. It was at 110K. ATC said the transponder dropped off at 70K. By the way, Yeager yesterday flew an F-15 (actually flew!) a recreation of his famous mission 65 years ago. Guess they will be bumping the "age" up to 89! Greeter

Not exactly accurate. Yeager was in the back seat of an F-15 (either an E model or a trainer) the PIC and pilot of the plane was an Air Force Captain. I am sure he was allowed to hold the stick for a bit but he was in no way shape or form the PIC.

I see your lips movin', but all I hear is a whoosh of hot air. Get yourself a tall glass of Metamucil, and calm down Pops.

Dude!!!

When someone like cactusboy offers a remonstration of that nature, a self evaluation is in order.

And I emphatically agree! Your performance to date has been less than adequate.

Exactly accurate, I said nothing about PIC. I cannot even post something with the slightest bit of amazement, much less fun without a troll nit picking my every word. Maybe Silver can rule on my account. 89 years old in an F-15, taking the stick. Nuff said, and thanks for raining on a bit of pleasent news in the space of a few minutes. No really. 89 years old in a fighter jet!Greeter

These type of gentlemen actually qualify for such appropriately grand terms. You and your laughable little imaginary "army" of "spartans" don't....Period. Oh well...I suppose that since you can fantasize yourselves into Thermopylae alongside Leonidas....why not in a "band of brothers" as well? Seriously; Are there ANY terms and/or traditions you respect out there?...other than the sacred rites of St. nic of course?....Just plain disgusting. "Your right: you are actually being judged on your character & moral fiber (or lack therof)" indeed.

Wow, you can just yap up a storm there dog-fight gramps!!

That Army has kept you guys set in LOA 93 for quite a while even with you eastholios running the union and in the majority.

I'd say we kicked your asses.

Knowing that General Yeager has a legendary ego, I'm sure the conversation on the ICS went something like this:

Yeager: "Captain..."

Captain: "Yes Sir?"

Yeager:" Pard, I know you signed for this here jet but I'm a gonna be doin' all the flyin'...any questions son?"

Captain:" No sir, have all the fun you want, just don't end my career!"

Thats no big deal, the majority of the East thinks that they have DOH seniority over that. For God's sake man, he's only 89 yrs old!!! Damn kids!

"Wide range of reasonableness..." (If HPearlyretiree were still here he would be repeatedly posting "wide range of reasonableness"... because he finally gets it 🙂 )
There is no range wide enough to cover placing east furloughed pilots senior to west captains.

LOL probably so.

Listened to his phone interview, he still sounds like he has a sharp mind. none of the typical stammers and searching for words that you hear from the average 89 year old.

Kero, I apologize. My earlier post was part of the "problem." Appreciate your input, and you are correct about the manning of that aircraft.Greeter
