The real stupidity was you listening to Ferguson on the furlough. All the promises of harm and retribution. They have made you a bitter young pill. On the street with nothing but a chat room. And a CEO who is merger happy for a company with thousands of furloughed also. Pathetic.

I have not seen the video yet but did receive notes about it from a buddy the night of the town hall.

No mention of any appeal by Parker.

The one thing I found interesting is in the Q-A part when somebody asked if the west would be hiring in 2013 and Parker stated, no we are over staffed by about 50 to 60 and the few retiring from the west in 2013 are less than that. The audience member then asked if they would recall in 2013 and Parker said "No"

Found it interesting that Parker didn't even try to sugarcoat it. Just flat out told the furloughees they are out of luck in 2013.
 
Why do I care? Because it shows the continuing failure of usapa and the rabid obsession with chasing rumor trying to prove fantasy invent by the east.

You did hear that the investment banker during the BPR meeting told the entire BPR that there was NO money to bring Us Airways out of bankruptcy right. There were no investors, there was no credit, nothing to save you guys except America West.

As far as Silvers ruling. I am quite happy with the ruling. she strongly warned the company and the east. If she had said it had to be the Nicolau usapa would have appealed and dragged this thing out longer and given Parker his excuse. Now he has no excuse. I am not happy if the company appeals. But that is Parker's problem. He will have to explain why he is delaying another 1-2 years for a decision he can make today.

I would prefer that usapa get to getting. Offer your proposal and force Parker to make a decison. If he accepts it we file the DFR. He he rejects it we have a direction and can get to a contract. What are you guys waiting for? Make a move. You said it is over did you not? Why have you not presented your proposal?

You know what clear? At least uhaul admits he is just being a tool.

As for the PIC, it was floated to and voted on by ALL US pilots. Several west pilots with real integrity asked me how to vote as they had no skin in the game. We were told that there was a chance that nothing would come from it, but it was our last chance for closure. It was a separate committee funded by east pilots.

No I didn't hear that about the investment banker but if he said that I hope we didn't hire him. There was some money already lined up by Lakefield, just not enough. The MERGER with AWA saved both companies, but not AWA by itself. AWA didn't have enough money for itself, much less to be saving any other company. The combination was enough to sell the rest of the funding and pay off YOUR ATSB loan too. On behalf of Lakefield, you're welcome.

I'm glad you at least have enough sense to see that an appeal would just be a delay tactic.

From what I understand USAPA did pass their list to the company. I thought that was the actual basis for filing the Addington.

Maybe you need to get a notepad. I did not say it was over. You asked me if I agreed with someone on that point and I said "No."
 
Where is the PHX crews news video, we heard all you were so disrepectful of Parker that Eberwine did not want anyone (especially the FAA) to see the way you kids acted that day. Maybe it should be on pay-per-view. :lol: :lol:

A west friend of mine who is in the loop but wasn't actually there said that Parker danced around the issue of appeal, but seemed to backtrack on actually "accepting" the Nic. Been waiting to watch myself because uhaul has proven to be a liar.
