Seems like a lot of factors would affect that statistic but I wouldn't think it would be very high, perhaps less than 1% as a swag.

What's your point in asking?

That is my point. It's rare, if ever that it happens. The airline business has it's ups and downs and one's career shouldn't be measure at one time. The Nicolau award was composed at our lowest point. He didn't look at the rapid movement that would come on a static list. He bought the liquidation argument, even though we didn't liquidate. That our assets were there going forward and he shifted much of the benefit to the west.

You didn't answer the second, so I'm guessing that you weren't. How would you liked if AWA had gone back into Ch 11 and another company came in, took advantage of that and you were locked into your lowest point in your career, just before those ahead of you were about to retire?

Gee AW, I wonder why he "bought" the liquidation argument:

Odd. The same "our way or the highway" thinking (East DOH or nothing in 2007, West NIC or nothing 2012) still gets no results.

We ain't getting straight DOH, and the NIC is DOA. Really.

Might this be the time for all involved to consider current events and act in the best way possible to get the maximum gain?

According to what I read here, a DFR and damages seems to be a forgone conclusion. I ask why not cash in on that logic? You cannot win until you spin the wheel. Time to put up or...you know.

Greeter
It is time for usapa to put up or shut up. You have the west answer. Go to the company and make a deal. Our answer is not going to change so get to work.

usapa is the bargaining agent start bargaining.

Besides what good would it do to waste our time trying to negotiate with usapa. We have west guys on the NAC and can't get usapa to accept any of our suggestions on things other than seniority.

How about the west STD. usapa NO
Health care. usapa NO.
PBS. usapa NO we want line bidding.

usapa is unwilling to negotiate with the west on none seniority items what makes you think it would be anything other than DOH west guys sit down and shut up.

Also with the track record of east pilots even if we did make a deal. You guys would just change your mind and go back on your word again.

So tell usapa to get to work. Submit your proposal and see if you can get the company to accept it. Then finish the rest of the contract. usapa has had over 4 years now.

Hey uhaul. That Topeka Capital-Journal ariticle you quoted was from September 27. 2004. LOA 93 was signed October 21, 2004. See anything there genius?

It's so simple. Give me the date we liquidated. That article is from Sep 2004 and predicts Feb 2005. Sure you want to quote that?

Yep. There's more if you want to make the effort. Liquidation and US Airways were synonymous back then and Nicolau took that into account.

You're here only because of the merger.

They have, go read the USAPA NAC summary. Doug is using your Addington inspired delay. Go talk to him.
