What's new

Stan Herman

I just received an email from AFA and it says you have to register and send an email to newlook@usairways.com in order to attend.

Include your name, badge number, department that you work and the date.

I'm attending the one in phoenix. 🙂

I am sure many in the field stations would love to attend a session....but, how do you when your flight schedule is reduced and or downgraded to RJ service? Every flight lately is full, full, full....no chance of getting anywhere as a non rev....

Get your manager to approve a Space Positive Business Pass for company business. Since they are asking us to fly to the hubs to get this task done, they ought to be able to find 1 seat for a rep to go and document the event/ take pix and notes if possible and report back to the rest of the station.

Take a good look at the Inflight uniform at Jetblue designed by Stan Herman. I like the black. According to Dougie-US is going to be here long after Jetblue vanishes. Why not go ahead and steal "some" of their look now-and make it "ours"? I think the black with the right shade of red and blue accent pieces would look nice.

There is a good pic of the uniform at the end of this video. Ahhhh the memories of Carnot come to mind...

The jetBlue uniform is blue. I read an interview with Mr Herman where he spoke about designing it. He wanted the uniform to be black as play up on NYC trendy and hip, but then someone reminded him that the name of the airline had the word "blue" in it. Black became blue at that point.

In regards to colors, give the stars and stripes a rest, will y'all? I don't feel the need to wrap my self in the American flag to have pride in country or in company.

I don't think anyone is asking for clothes that have the American flag all over like those, TACKY SWA pilot ties... but we have all had it with just blue. Two words for you...ACCENT COLORS. Red, white, and blue are appealing colors as accents and reflects the name US Airways. We all know we will probably have a dark color as the primary. So PLEASE...ACCENT COLORS!!

BTW, I will be at the CLT meeting Wed and will give the skinny. 😉

I'd like something pretty for my hair, could you put in a word?
