This post is long overdue, but I didn't post on here until this month. I want to thank all the frequent flyers that have stuck with US through all the ups and downs. I want you to know that this employee knows we wouldn't be here without you. Even though I am very unhappy about the arbitration and the way this company is being managed, I will do my best to take care of all our customers.

I third that!

Thank you for your continued patronage, in good times and not-so-good times!

I have to agree also, thanks for hanging in there with us. By now you know how A- West is running this place into the ground with the worst management we have ever had (one step above Mesa almost) you have dealt with them to know they don't care much about the customer or the level of service they provide for you. Our hands our tied as they do not care about employee input. I could go on but I won't. Thanks again anyway!!!!!

This is hilarious!

"Thank you ever so much. Of course our 'burning the house down' will inconvenience many and alienate the rest, but from the bottom of what we substitute for a heart, Thanks!

Oh, yeah that stuff about price gouging out of Philly and Pit for years, let's just pretend that never happened. After us, you folks are number two, and we mean it. Number Two."

I in turn, want to thank all of the employees at US Airways/ America West for the friendliness and great service. It's been 4 years now since I've moved over to US Airways and 'Till Death Do Us Park I will always support and fly US Airways. I have made many friends by flying with US Airways and I am get so jumpy and excited every single time I fly with US Airways!

Piney, Thanks for being brutally honest and supportive during our trials and tribulations.

PI and all of the fine folks at US front lines,

It is we who thank YOU for all the support and TLC during all of this. We would never have stayed without your efforts in looking after us.

We are at a critical juncture right now. Unfortunately the issue of the East pilots arbitration award could bring the whole thing crashing down.

If it becomes apparent that US operational reliability is such that US can't be counted on to get us from point A to point B with confidence ( I hope not but I understand it's possible), we will have no choice but to advise our membership that it may be prudent to book away until the issues are resolved. IF that time comes, I will apologize in advance to all of you, and hope you know that it won't be because of you.......

That said, what I find most disappointing is the fact that in the midst of all this fighting posturing and threatening, no one seems interested in finding a mutually acceptable solution.......

Again, thank you for your kind post, but it is we who thank you and all your colleagues--I hope we are able to continue to visit with you for the forseeable future.

My best to you all......

First for all to everyone NOT named Luvin737s a hearty you're Welcome and in turn thanks for treating us well enough to endure the current debacle known as US Airways.

Now 737 as for "Price Gouging out of PHL & PIT" consider that the current Head "Price Gouger" as you put it is Andrew Nocella, Official Bio below, note bolding is mine.

"Andrew P. Nocella, is responsible for the company's route-scheduling functions, a similar role to his previous position at US Airways. Andrew joined US Airways as vice president of scheduling and planning in April 2002 from America West where he was vice president, planning and scheduling."

The other "Price Gouger is Thomas Trenga, Again please note the bolding is mine.
Thomas Trenga's responsibilities include managing US Airways' revenue management functions, including pricing and tariffs, yield management and revenue analysis. Trenga also previously served as the airline's managing director, revenue management, where he had the task of adapting inventory management strategy to the rapidly changing industry environment.

"Trenga joined US Airways merger partner America West Airlines in 1996 as a route planning and scheduling analyst. Throughout his tenure with America West he has served as director, Internet distribution, senior director, pricing and tariffs and senior director, yield management. Tom holds a master of business administration from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn. and a bachelor of arts in economics from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York."

So the price gougers of the last 7 years came from America West. Just so you'll know. BTW if you do a detailed analysis of how HP has stayed afloat you'll find in many cases that they are just like east in reliance on monopoly routes and routes that WN doesn't fly.

Slick dodging of competition and a knowing the price of everything and value of nothing approach will not work with an international carrier.

Now then back to your co-workers thanking all of the FF'ers I'll say it again we appreciate your efforts on our behalf. You can not have true customer satisfaction without employee satisfaction. All you need do is compare the decline in DOT stats the Sonsumer Reports survey against the rancor here and the labor unrest demonstrated by rally's and pickets to put 2 + 2 together. Hell even Stevie Wonder can see that.

Hey,idiot. If you dig a little deeper you will find Nocella came from USair with the Crystal City crowd. But don't let me confuse you with the facts. <_<

ETOPS,

First of all there is no reason to call Bob an idiot. What he said is accurate. Andrew Nocella joined the CCY management in 2002 FROM America West. He was with the CCY crowd from 2002 until the merger in 2005 where he wound up back with his original employer in a sense.

Lighten up a little. Bob happens to be right here.

Thanks Art! I wouldn't blame your for leaving, I'm surprised you have stayed this long. It really amazed me that you took the time to travel to PHX and try to fix this outfit. I probably wouldn't have. It's kind of like me with cars. I like GM's products, but got burned a few times with reliablity. I sent some letters about one car, but no satisfaction. I've bought nothing but Hondas since and won't go back unless they let me down.

Take care, hope to meet you on the line someday.

I in turn,
Does everyone of your post have to be about you? You are completely off topic and deliberately trying to derail a topic concerning people you have been very public that you do not support and do not like. How childish....

sky high states: I'd like to thank you too, but I'm usually busy, hanging my head, in shame! 🙁

only stating opinions
