Our ALPA brother Kirch picked NICOLAU on this one too. First ever non DOH merge in company history. Another reason the ALPA brothers got the door. They dropped DOH because of some ALPA inside deal.
Piedmont/US wasnt DOH.

And why didnt the East Pilots give the former Empire Pilots their real seniority after the PI/US merger?

WWUD= What will usapa do

WWUD?

They will negotiate using the the Nic. They have no other option. They are behind closed doors right now in full spin mode. Full spin to explain to the pilots who bought their bill of goods as to why DOH is DOA and they will now be negotiating with the Nic as the list. The 9th gave USAPA the rope to hang itself. BP is in a better place than USAPA right now.

More denial. It's sad, watching the west guys and their supporters melt down. Naa, it's pretty funny!

I've got no problem with it. Give it to them now.
That was more ALPA injustice. Ask the ALPA supporters, BB, CM and others why they thought it was fair. Most probably still think it was, but it wasn't.

ALPA SUX!

Yes ALPA does suck

Yep negotiate. That does not mean that usapa can get anything other than the Nicolau. What does usapa do if the company's position is the Nicolau? Are you going to buy DOH by giving away the rest of the contract? Instant DFR because the west gets nothing from that deal.

What if the company says they don't want to be sued and ask for a $100 million bond from usapa in case of a law suit? What if the company takes a stand like PBS and says no contract unless it has PBS and the Nicolau? What will usapa do? What leverage does usapa have?

Does the NC even have the ablity to negotiate? Anything.

WWUD= What will usapa do

What if, what if, what if........ Pull it together Clear. Everything will be negotiated in good faith, including seniority!

What NIC? NIC is no more!

Tell us. What was the gold standard integration position of the east pilots during the trump merger?

DOH? NO!

W-2. How much did you make, that is where you would be put on the list. Care to use the method with this merger?

Inside deal. Yep the trump guys had better DOH seniority so they changed it.

It was a turnkey sale - yesterday you worked for Eastern - 12:01 am today you work at Trump.

How do you use DOH when everyone has the same one?

Piedmont US was absolutely DOH. Where did you get your info from because you don't know what you are talking about. Why didn't the East pilots give former Empire DOH? The USAir PAI merger happened after PAI did the Empire deal, we had NOTHING to do with it. We were all DOH through PAI. We did not have the authority to have any input on that.

If you say so.

Hopefully the furloughed will be coming back soon. The reps I have spoken with say the company is having serious issues staffing already. Hopefully you will be back soon. If everybody flies only what is legally required, it will happen sooner.

What NIC? NIC is no more!

One thing is for certain. The Nic ain't going away. It happened, end of story.

Any and all future seniority schemes will be objectively measured as to how they differ from the Nic. No subjective whinning about what is unfair to Monda, or Nic was senile.

Plain and simple, anything less than the Nic "unquestionably ripe DFR".

Every other arguement east posters have made in the last 5 days has been nothing more than the same arguements about RLA law and unions rights, that Seeham used to put the hook into usapa in the first place. Where did that get you? On the recieving end of a federal injunction,after losing a DFR trial.

Now the 9th says that trial was premature, but makes no comments on its merits or the Nic award, accept to say, in layman's terms, if you get DOH passed, the next verdict will stick.

I am looking forward to usapa doing the right thing and changing their position to supporting the Nic. They can either do that now and save us all a bunch of money, or they can continue to waste our time and money, force seperate ops, tie the company's hands in the larger competative enviroment, and rack up the damages amount coming in their future "unquestionably ripe" DFR loss.

That was some nice attempt to re write history. The classic statement was "The Nic ain't going away, It happened, end of story." The rest of us know what was really in the 9th.

You can't sue the company for DFR. They were NEVER bound by the NIC anyway. "Ripe" does not mean "prevail" Get over it. The 9th didn't even need to comment on it, but they did. USAPA is NOT bound by the NIC, nor will they use it.

You're right, the NIC is not going away. It's ALREADY gone away.

If you don't like it, I can tell you where to send your 2 weeks' notice.

why would anyone think the company would insist on Nic? I understand it was court ordered at the time but no longer.

The Frat Boys (Parker,Kirby) needs one pilot group to support their merger dreams,they could care less if it's Nic ,DOH or names drawed from a hat as long as they get it. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.
