So, show us what stations the fuelers are IBT and how many?

I will answer you this, the majority of the fuelers system wide are non-union and by the law they cannot sympathy strike, so if you think an $8 fueler will lose his job for a $100K+ a year pilot, you have another thing coming.

First of all, it's POSED not POISED. Other than that, I would say you are correct, no other labor group is likely to support our strike. As a matter of fact, I suspect the majority of the west pilots will choose no to honor it. The union knows this, and because of that will probably not call for a strike vote anytime soon.
 
Good point Avg Joe but here is what you are missing in a big way. First, the company is just fine with status quo on your pay scale. Hey if the east want to work for republic money then who am I to stand in their way? I say give'em all food stamps!!
Second for dragging out the process usapa will be sued again for not represnting the west by negotiating in good faith. I plan to bring the suit myself. Third just how long to you think the mid level capts will continue to allow the crazy 8's (angry f/o's club) to continue to hold them down?? There is zero in this for them so why should they give whats left of their careers to this losing effort? Now in all honesty I could care less if the east never got another raise. If they want to keep killing themselves I am all too happy to provide gun and bullets. The attrition train the people keep spoutin off about only serves the cry babies while the capts will continue to be paid 124/hr and then retire on 25k a year with PBGC. I am good with that and I hope they are too if you really expect to succeed.

My PBGC number is $44,000 and change. Every seat change in the east generally represents a pay increase. We never bought off on that same pay for all equipment thing that the west has. From reserve to blockholder and narrow body to wide body the majority of our east pilots will benefit from the attrition that the east has coming. I really think the company has figured out it is so much cheaper to keep us separate. We live every day in the east with our DOH and life goes on. You guys out west have all that west attrition to look forward to. No one back east would ever try to take your west attrition from you.

Do they need to? every step, 76I f/o, to 330F/O, to AB capt creates a step plus at age 55 you can start to collect your PBGC if ya desire, ya know it is not worth your PBGC makeup money to accept leapfrogging! 40WATT CLUB you gotta luv em! DOUG wiill never offer enough money for the EAST to even consider a bargaining position like the NIC! MM! PS enjoy that WEST attrition, are they all CAPTS.?

DECODE THIS, WEST PAY yr 1- $39.14 yr 2 $ 61.41 (50 pilots a year attrition) EAST yr1 $24.99(all groups) yr2 ($72.96, $65.86,$56.55) more than 200+ pilots a year attrition now why would a new hire vote to put 1800 pilots on top of him? nonetheless anyone on the EAST, except a handful ,trader and 924, 40 watt club east division, ! MM!

The west can't fly EAST routes, and I doubt they will be able to get an injuction that says they can.

We only need ourselves to stop this operation...
Are you new? If HUGE if the east pilots find your spine and IF the NMB releases you. The TA that does not allow west to fly east is gone. The company will assign whatever flights to whoever. It is called self help. The company can also engage in self help. Learn about the RLA.

Beside I think that is funny that you would point to the TA to say that we cannot fly the routes but that TA that says you will use the Niclau you ignore. What is it? IS the TA valid on all points or just the ones you want?
 
My congrats to all who get that pay bump in MARCH E-190 especially! MM Today the Company will publish Permanent Base Bid 11-01 for the east pilots. A copy is attached, and will be posted tomorrow on the USAPA web site in the Scheduling Library (regretfully we are having technical issues delaying the upload). It is a one month bid for March and it will open today and close December 5, 2010 @ 23:30 Eastern. The primary bid drivers are:

Increase 76I staffing and lines in support of seasonal utilization
Increase CLT AB Captain and F/O lines in support of block
Increase CLT 737 staffing to support block
Recall of 40 pilots from furlough
There is a potential for a lot of movement off the 190 so if you are a 190 F/O desiring to move off please make sure you bid the equipment and base you desire before your 190 bid.

Be advised that the Company may assign training at any time following the closing of this bid in accordance with Section 24(F).

Probably all true...but if the planets line up and USAPA calls a legal strike against LCC, you going to cross that line and run to the company's aid????

There is NO WAY you can put this dispute we are in over seniority and scabbing LCC in the same category. Of course, maybe ALPA will welcome you back into the fold with open arms. They have a history.

So now you support newhire East pilots LEAPFROGGING the West pilots? What happened to your DOH Mantra?

Is it true the Cleary is trying to whore USAPA out to the Teamsters because USAPAs cashflow is getting low? Sure the Sec 29 letters are going out on the East, but it's not enough to cover the mess USAPA has created. 😱

So much for DOH being the "gold standard", right MM. Interesting that you're depending on the new hires NOT wanting DOH just so you can keep what you've taken. Just further proof that "fair" has nothing to do with what you're doing. It's all about making up for a lousy career by taking the West's seniority for yourself. All about greed...
