LOL, you are in for some disappointment. You've moved on from what? Usapa is still in court over seniority, the company, west and judge want to import addington evidence, so much for you "winning". You think any court in this land will give the company immunity from being sued? Remember seniority portion of ta was complete when the company paid both mec's for the list, and accepted it in writing.

HA! These delusional scabs actually think they've "moved on"?! :lol: did someone forget to tell Sesham? I guess so as 60% of all dues money still ends up in his "moved on" pockets.

Bottom line, 4federal judges...soon to be 5 and a jury have all reviewed the merits of this dispute. Jury convicted in a heartbeat, two judges thought this WAS ripe, two Judges didn't address the merits at all aside from warning usapa of their duty to fairly represent, and the fifth Federal Judge just smacked Sesham and is dragging the scab union back into court kicking and screaming. But not to worry Easties, you "moved on" :lol: :lol:

I know it's a fruitless endeavor but lets rehash what a "Scab " is....

(1) : a worker who refuses to join a labor union (2) : a union member who refuses to strike or returns to work before a strike has ended (3) : a worker who accepts employment or replaces a union worker during a strike (4) : one who works for less than union wages or on nonunion terms

Now based on that and the West kicking and screaming to not join or pay dues to their Union as well as what has been said by West Pilots about their willingness to walk across a picket line...I think you can figure out what side of this airline is more..."scabby"

But carry on and throw your insults around...they lose their effectiveness when you use them incorrectly. It makes you look childish.

The only reason you throwing this word around upsets the East pilots is because a lot of them have walked picket lines and they have more respect for their fellow pilots, yes including you out West, then to stand up and say that they're willing to walk across a picket line to help out dear Mr. Parker.

If it was your goal when you birthed this fake stillborn union to stay on LOA93 in perpetuity. congratulations! Perhaps your coworkers had loftier goals than to retire paid less than a commuter. I wouldn't want that stain on my hands...you seem proud of it.
 
Did anyone hear about the Scott Kirby incident on a US airways flight to and from Europe? I heard he acted unprofessionally.

If there is a mug shot, I would like to compare it with dougs.

Jamie you are correct, no one can force any pilot to vote for a contract with Nic. and as such your side has veto power over any deal. Remember usapa's argument in court? Usapa's doh list is the way for the majority to break the logjam. Well that is illegal, barton says so. Jamie a simple question, all things being equal what is better for a west's pilot career, nic. or doh? answer it truthfully and you have your answer for Silver's court, the 9th screwed up big time, the dissent at the 9th warn them that we would be back in court with the company and guess what, we are.

So, now that you've defined what a scab is, explain what it is that they do. I'll help.

They take advantage of a situation where individuals are risking their professional livelihoods, for their own personal gain. In short, selfishness is the core of what makes scabbing so reviled.

USAPA codified selfishness in it's C&BL's from the very start by excluding west participation in crafting them. They knew that the west would not accept the tyranny of the majority without a fight, so they designed their union to succeed by interfering with the progress of integration until they got their upgrades and then they could care less. End Of Alpa is proof positive of this tactical cornerstone.

They could care less about the senior pilots who will never see any improvement in wages over LOA93, while the angry F/O Founding Children greedily take their 30% upgrade pay increase and never look back.

They could care less about the west pilots who are stymied in their quest for a better contract by the unnecessary delay in concluding the integration.

They could care less about the new hire who inherits a toxic workplace, made so only by the F/O's who spread the fear and bigotry of the west pilot group as an artificial cement to temporarily bind the east together. True unity is something both difficult to make and volatile to contain and USAPA knows they are ill-equipped to mess with it. Instead they employ FUD to deflect blame for the bankruptcy wages from themselves and onto their villain du jour.

They could care less about the 32,000 families who slug it out every day and don't earn 6 figures or work in an air conditioned cockpit, but instead play recklessly with a campaign that creates a myth of safety problems where none exist, and rely on there hubris of being able to shut off those ill effects like a spigot when they've either had their desired effect, or been proven an abject failure. But everyone else knows that the public perception will not change on a dime and that the effects of driving passengers away will linger longer than they ever imagined. That's why matches are kept out of children's reach.

They could care less about the passengers they inconvenience with phony write-ups or artificial delays that are so transparent they beg for disciplinary procedures. They could care less about the anxiety that they promote when immature pilots follow their union leadership and get On Board only to find that they don't enjoy the same immunity from discipline that their leaders have.

Missfit, that's why they are scabs. The core group of angry F/O's have narrowly gained control of the union and are exploiting all they can for their personal gain at virtually everyone else's expense. And every one who idly sits by and allows apathy and inertia to keep them in power is equally guilty.

Actually I agree with EoA on this. The courts have tried to telegraph to the pilots that they need to get rid of USAPA and then take care of the integration issue themselves.

Where USAPA's Founding Children got it wrong is in not forming USAPA before the integration process began. They needed to oust ALPA before Nicolau was ever involved. But they tried to play games and threaten ALPA and then bolted, but alas it was too late, the Nic list had been published and accepted. Now USAPA has to try peddling the idea that the Nic list is merely one of many bargaining positions with no greater credence than the obviously discriminatory one they dreamed up. That has gained no traction anywhere it's been heard and so they continue with their "Don't just do something, Stand there" strategy, which too violates their duty to represent the west pilots who are entitled to timely negotiation of a joint contract, just so that the east F/O's can occupy their seats before No Bump No Flush goes away.

Everyone has tried to tell the pilots they need to stand up and be responsible for themselves and if that means dismantling and grinding up USAPA, and replacing it with a bipartisan union, so be it.
