Brett is a good guy and a successful entrepreneur, are you going to slime him because he is a blogger with an opinion you don't like? He writes a good blog is very educated on what is happening in the industry and is respected.

But Ted Red is an honest unbiased reporter in the view of the east.
 
Here is the latest rumor. The CLT chief pilot office SUPPOSEDLY stated to a visiting pilot the east and west certificates are being separated.


Why on earth would the company share such info? Maybe the company dude that has to read this forum day in and day out was getting tired of reading the same old "taste great/less filling" argument back and forth and wanted something new to read. :lol:

For starters, he can craft a sentence that is understandable and has proper spelling and usage....

Well, he did say this:

"That being said, if a captain doesn’t feel comfortable flying an airplane, then it’s his or her right to deny it. The problem arises when that privilege is abused just to delay or cancel flights without good reason. I’m not saying that happened here. I don’t know, and frankly, it’s not central to my point. I have no problem in theory with her walking away from the flight."

That's more than a lot of west pilots did!

The rest of it sounds more like a certain pilot's unbiased questions, I mean facts. 😀

When you think about it, attention-deficit order makes a lot of sense. When it comes to the WESTIES there isn’t a lot worth paying attention to.

Tempe splits the certificates, and you think that is a good thing for the east? What, you think Tempe is going to kill itself, split LCC and hand some fictitious "east" all the good parts?

Why not, since the only good parts are already in the east. Ask Doug.

More likely, Tempe would divest the parts that do not want to be on "Team Tempe".

Would that it were true. One can only hope right now.
 
My crystal balls sez: West being sold to Spirit. East stand-alone until AA BK, then merging with AA.
