US Pilots Labor Discussion

Unlike yourself, my head is fine, sir....no need for red or blue pills.

Do the red ones or the blues ones make you have more of an urge to cruxify a Captain? Or is it just a demon that you haven't identified yet? Maybe you just have a black cat bone, like my ex wife.....( you know, kinda screwed up)

luvn737 is not a pilot. Much less should ever be a pilot.

Sure.

If a captain made a legitimate mistake - retrain. If they have a mental problem - HIMS. If they lie about their mistake - Fire them.

No need to crucify. There are better uses for the lumber.

I have finally had the time to read the transcripts from Cpt Wells' testimony. It is obvious to me that yourself and Clear, through his little comments, are in as much of a witch hunt as CP Yarko is.

Obviously, this happened at the time when the company was claiming that USAPA was creating problems, so it is my belief that management was on a witch hunt, especially Yarko, who had just got caught in a lie with another crew about the ETOPS operation.

Any reason that this particular Cpt would catch hell when she had a miantanence problem? Especially since she was on 2 committees for the union? Why would Yarko ask her several times if she was refusing to take the aircraft instead of discussing what type of problem she was having? Sounds like Yarko already had his mind made up as to just how this was going to go down.

Honest question......who is corporate security that shows up at the gate when things aren't going right for the agents, CP's office, or ramp tower? I had these goons show up to escort an AA pilot off the jumpseat at the call of an agent when nothing at all had gone wrong with the flight, she just got the goons in place in case things got out of hand after she screwed us about my keeping my positive space seat instead of bumping the AA pilot off, which she and I had agreed to.. Other than that incident, I had not heard of these guys through any training, FOM, or any other form of company communication. These guys are intimidating when they show up in their suits and you have never heard of them.

I DO NOT believe that Cpt Wells made a mistake, but was the subject of intimidation from the company and Yarko in particular. She did her job and I hope that none of us, as pilots ever get caught up in this kind of BS.

For you guys to continue your witch hunt is a disgrace to the profession....trying to second guess it all. You guys suck as Monday morning quarterbacks.

Why is demanding accountability for embarrassing and possibly illegal action considered a witch hunt?

How could Yarko (whoever he is) send a replacement crew without confirming that Wells would not be willing to complete the flight?

Why have we not heard the other 2 crew members testimonies? What Mr. Eagle posted seems much more credible than anything else that has been said about this incident and seems to contain plenty of evidence that could easily be corroborated.

Instead, you choose to misplace your loyalty card, because you seem to think it gives the appearance of unity. You hold neither Wells or Cleary accountable for their actions proving that their are none in the east fit to lead.

"Stand by your principles... " Right.

Once again, you forgot to state...."in your opinion" You have no facts at all, just being a dick about it all.

I quoted you the FAA statement, as published by corporate communications in it's attempt to gloss over the event, that supports Captain Wells' version of events and contradicts mr. Eagle's. Yet you ignore it. Hmmmm.....................no bias there, right Mr. AWAPPA?

The real shocker will be how pleasant it actually will be when you and I fly together.

Well, that won't ever happen, unfortunately. (is that a threat?)

I honestly had some respect for your posts on the past, but you are on thin ice with the Cpt Wells issue.....just wait and see.

You have no facts at all

Something that applies to everyone here unless one of the 3 pilots is here and staying mum. That's why I've stayed away from pointing fingers at either side, unlike everyone else who "believes" one side or the other.

Jim

just taking on me as I did.

And what did I take you on for? Claiming to be neutral while supporting one side with your posts. Support either side - it matters not to me. But don't claim to be neutral when you aren't. It's a simple concept to grasp.

The latest posting (Mr. Eagle) contains information and analysis of events and equipment that the FAA may not have had when they made their preliminary comments.

Let's see Heads I go with Logic and Tails I go with blind devotion to a tyrannical union. Wait, I don't have a coin to flip, Cleary's extorted from me already!

Whew, I knew that blue pill would kick in sooner or later. Better grab the red one!

luvin737,

We are honestly having a lot of maintanence issues here in the east. Just today we had an Elec Hydralic pump failure on climbout. It just seems to be something everyday. And if it will make you feel better, I am not in good standing with USAPA....and am not taking their side. There is some kind of problem on almost every flight and I think maintanence is not given enough time to keep up with the aircraft, since the airplanes are in the air so much, especially on the trans Atlantic flts.

Jim

You don't HAVE to say anything, YOU are not here anymore, YOU don't know what is going on. I'm still doing a great job for the company but being accused of a "job action". You don't have a clue, but you stick me every time you can.

I was as unbiased as I could be. I don't know Captain Wells, never heard of her before this. Of all the stories thrown around, the one posted on here by Mr Eagle makes the least sense, from my POV of actually being involved in things! Plus, it is contrary to what the company has put out.

You don't have to run your mouth on everything. Really. Just like when you outed the wrong guys despite the fact that I took the time to PM you and give you a clue!

So, speak up Jim. What did you think of luvn's Pamprin comment? Come on, let us know. Do you hate women pilots too?
