The new runway would have helped IF someone had been smart enough to design the taxiways to eliminate the choke points. We don't need excuses because we have a reason ..........our management.

How is it you east pilots make it through the day when no one except east pilots are smart? According to you.

Management, training dept, safety department, FAA, MX, Nicolau, Wake, west pilots, airport designers, anyone that disagrees with east pilots. If the injunction issues Conrad, if the NY case is dismissed that judge, if judge Silver determines that the Nicolau has to be used Judge Silver will not be smart. Seems the only people in your little world that are smart and never wrong is Cleary and east pilots. Might want to look at the common factor, that could be your problem not everyone else.

What does airport design have to do with MX writeups? What does ataxi way design have to do with fatique calls.

You sure found an amazing amount of things I did not say in my one sentence post. Your hatred of all things east goes beyond reason. I would not be one bit surprised to find out that you refuse any flights that head in an easterly direction or acknowledge that the sun comes up in the east.

As far as I know, I have never been an ALPA rep. Although, there is a remote chance that I have a serious sleepwalking disorder... 😀

MM obviously doesn't know what he's talking about - his posts prove it. Obviously airline economics is not his strong suit (if he even has a strong suit). Just in the last couple or weeks or so we've seen posts by east pilots about flights to/from PHX full of connecting passengers. US would lose most of those passengers without the PHX hub to collect them for the flights to/from the east coast. Close the PHX hub, kiss that revenue goodbye and US is back in BK with no plan.

Well, I can certainly see where someone that fantasizes about the glory days of US (were there 3 or 4 of those days), believes that the East operation was/is an invincible powerhouse which just used BK to lull the competition into complacence, and thinks all it takes to pull the wool over everyone else's eyes is a simple change of screen name might feel insulted when faced with the truth...

If a captain made a legitimate mistake - retrain. If they have a mental problem - HIMS. If they lie about their mistake - Fire them.

No need to crucify. There are better uses for the lumber.
