So you traded Stephan for Cleary. How is that working out? Big pay raise and more respect form management? How about those union dues? usapa is going to do it cheaper some day. usapa promised.

At least you will not have the excuse that you did not vote for the president. When it all goes horribly wrong you will have no on to blame but yourselves.

But wait. You guys are telling us that all you east guys are going to leave early. Besides. After 20 years on LOA 93 I think a few east guys might be willing to live with the Nicolau and a better contract. But then again you east guys have never demonstrated to much smarts so far. But then we may also say that with a majority we can determine our own seniority list.

Enjoy LOA 93 until you leave. Thank usapa on the way out.

That's what AWA merger attorney Freund was talking about when he sagely advised that the West can cut a deal post Nic. Freund was doing his job quite well in that he explained every dimension of the law to the West leadership. The West MEC were the agents for all West pilots and hence an agreement to modify the Nic made by the West MEC would have been pretty much impossible to get rescinded by West pilots through a subsequent DFR. That's basically what the 2nd Cir was saying the Empire suit - the ALPA rep agreed to stapling and that's all the court has to say about that absent some showing of fraud, etc. What's amusing is that the East has taken that Freund statement totally out of context; they fail to realize that they themselves ensured there could be no settlement once the West was vaporized as a legal entity. It's all or nothing now fellas, and you can thank your esteemed ambulance chaser for not telling you everything. Let's see a show of hands: how many of you were unaware of what a hybrid DFR was? How many of you were unaware of the legal effects of eliminating the West MEC? How many of you are still ignorant of the Section 6 process in that only a fool would think that a mediator won't park us when there is ongoing litigation about seniority in federal court? I honestly thought there were enough on the East to see through the total USAPA sales job three years ago. Now it's turning into a tragedy for so many who have spent nearly four additional years and counting on LOA 93, only to be led into a dark alley with no exit.

No misery. A lot of us on the East just bid into the 76I Capt and F/O positions, so right there they top your so called high pay. Add in the 10k coming, and it is quite fine. As far as Cleary? Mike is doing a fantastic job. We're still working on that ring for him.

Man aqua we are just a bunch of old country boys and girls from back east. You highly educated boys and girls out west have schooled us at every turn. You have us running in every direction. We are so confused! Please tell us what we should do.

Still waiting on just one of those east folk to tell us how they get out of binding arbitration and force LCC to absorb the judgement which will bankrupt this company. Still waiting on the east to show us all how they get out of majority taking advanage of the minority for what is without a doubt east benefit. Still waiting on the east to show us how they get that DOH contract they usappy promised they could get in 90 days, hows' that going for ya there Hate2fly?? The best thing you all could do at this point to save face is just quit! There is no way on earth you get out of the arbitration so all you have TODAY is to waste time and even that will run out and get ya sued once the court tells LCC a contract is a contract.

Quit or honor your obligations but either way the NIC is here to stay...
