I can't speak for the guy (or gal) sitting in the left seat with 7 or more years left but I can tell you where I stand. I have 2 more years left and I can see no reason to throw those pilots junior to me under the bus. From my point of view in the next 2 years even if we could get together and get a contract I don't think there would be much improvement in my quality of life or even for those with more time remaining. I'm no longer here for the money so I fly the minimum possible. I just can't see throwing them under the bus. Perhaps we could get the opinion of one of those pilots with 7 or more years left?

Well said Bob. Your sentiment is the rule, rather than the exception of our most experienced and senior pilots. That solidarity we share is why we will eventually persevere. Seniority matters.

JS, please explain how former PSA pilot Jalmer Johnson became Mec president of ALPA Usairways pilots. Jalmer became president, got full parity in retirement benefits off the backs of the Usairways east pilots. Then Jalmer used all his sick time earned off the Usairways East pilots, then took a lump sump of a million plus, then went to ALPA National for his pirate efforts. Does your family of girls know what a pig you and your former Jalmer are? I think they should know the truth.
How long ago was that and what does it have to do with today? Once again that you the east messed up history and another reason why you guys were the worst in the indusrty. Who cares about this?

I keep hearing these dates 2021,2030 etc. Does anyone think Parker the board or the stockholders are going to let this go on for ever.

I wouldnt be surprised if in a year or less that we are told" solve your problem or else". Else being selling off east and west to the

highest bidder. American could take the east and get the strength on the east and southeast that they want. Mesa might be

interested in the west, They could even call it Grande Mesa.
I tell you what. You go and do whatever you need to make that happen. Call the all powerful Cleary, contact the BPR tell them to force Parker to split this up. See what happens.

I would love to get away from you miserable people. I never wanted to be a us air pilot most of the west did not. But we are stuck with boat anchor of an airline.

Now you guys just shuffle off to AA and see how that goes. They have been so kind in their last mergers. Yes it would go to arbitration. A/M where it does not say DOH. So you would be most likely integrated by relative seniority. But only this time. AA has way more WB then your little commuter airline. You would not get the top 500 spots this time. The east would be lucky to start 500-1000 down the list. Slotted in relative.

Than what you guys do? Throw another fit? Not this time majority rules. Following your reputation with arbitrations you may find yourself in even worst position. So you guys go ahead and work to get this pig split. Karma is tough. I would love to watch the result of that show.

I do agree with one thing you said. Parker is not going to let this go much longer. He is finally going to have to make a tough decision. Follow his agreement or risk a law suit.

the most senior here really don't have it that bad.. Have you seen there lines? Pretty easy duty, weekends off, choice to pick up what they want.. Holidays off...
yeah the pay could be better but not too bad... Lucily we have guys like 767One and Oldie, and NYC busdriver... All guys who are takiing a stand against a NIC list that is so disgusting that it brings out their support even thought it does not affect them. They know the bottom 2/3 of this list has taken a beating over the last 20 years... I salute them for their support.
But wait. We have been told that the PID was unfair because US Air was just having a bad hair day. That if we had only looked at AAA any other time we would have seen what a wonderful money maker it was. Would you guys please find a story and stick with it.

Yes AAA was a junk airline for the past 20 years. The senior guys threw the junior guys under the bus for that long. Any airline that has 20 reserves is junk.

But now the junior guys want to throw the senior guys under the bus to steal their seats from attrition. Good luck to all of you. No honor among thieves.

You keep bringing up stupid numbers like this and you don't even accept what was told to you about them. Those numbers include REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES, like when they need to rent a car, get a hotel or pay for a conference room for USAPA business. Looks entirely reasonable to me. If it had been ALPA, you could have added at least one zero to those numbers, before the decimal point.

When you keep presenting stuff that has been explained on here and everywhere else numerous times over it just makes you look like a clown.

Mike Cleary and Tracy Parrella are two of the best Pilot advocates we could EVER have.

Most of us aren't laughing at his stammering or any other physical characteristic. I've never heard him speak. We're laughing at his apparent lack of legal skills. Or should I say, we're laughing that the AOL group would hire someone with such skills.

Are you by chance talking about Armen Janzen? I think you have some/most of your facts wrong...pretty sure he never went to ALPA national, think he retired and stayed in California.l

As for your continued nonsensical data analysis, here's a link to an airline quality ranking survey, from 1998-2002. Before all the corporate greed ruined the airlines. You'll note that US Airways was number one twice (out of 10 major US airlines) #2 once and only as low as #6 once. America West was ALWAYS in the lower half, even last once, except one time, when they got to number 4.
Now, LCC is the 5th Worst airline IN THE WORLD. Something to be really proud of!

I suggest that you point your poison at the ALPA shill that posted the ALPA leadership numbers. I know what you are talking about and I also know that someone would make that point. But you did not make that point about the ALPA numbers did you?


Is the same thing also not true about the ALPA numbers? Except they have 60,000 members to take care of not 4000.

Stating facts doesn't make someone a crybaby. Whining about not being able to steal someone's job does. That makes the westies that post here crybabies. See how this works?

US Airways DID have an outstanding history. A lot to be proud of.

And here's the kickier....MOST of the East Pilots and F/As have been here since well before those polls were taken, so they know the difference between a well run airline and one that is not.
