I suggest that you point your poison at the ALPA shill that posted the ALPA leadership numbers. I know what you are talking about and I also know that someone would make that point. But you did not make that point about the ALPA numbers did you?


Is the same thing also not true about the ALPA numbers? Except they have 60,000 members to take care of not 4000.
No, because ALPA separated the expense numbers from the salary numbers. Those numbers you see published have a column for the "benefits and other compensation". Here's an example:

See the difference yet? Those total compensation numbers for the two you list are only a little more than the "benefits and other compensation" of the top ALPA guys. And, those are the "boiler plate" guys, the ones that don't even do anything but play golf with senators and congressmnen and stuff. The MECs are still below them, collecting similar amounts.

USAPA is WAAAY more cost effective than ALPA. Best money we EVER spent.
 
Then have a word with your usapa shill sumadarson. He has made fun of Dr. Jacobs disability twice. But it seems you never see a problem with your own side. Will you be taking him to task?
I'm no USAPA shill, and I don't even know whom Mr. sumardarson is. He is entitled to his own opinon. Personally, I wouldn't necessarily call whatever Mr. Jacobs has an affliction or disability. EVERYONE has issues of one sort or another, and how we cope determines our character. I WOULD say that Mr.(Dr.) Jacobs has overcome his weaknesses rather well, so in that respect is a man of strong character.

Dr. Jacobs is BRILLIANT. Seriously. How can you lose as much as he has, get the 9th to come out and clear the air on the fact Nic is just an option of many, and get your clients to keep paying? That my friends, is a smart man! 😀
 
Are you by chance talking about Armen Janzen? I think you have some/most of your facts wrong...pretty sure he never went to ALPA national, think he retired and stayed in California.l
I think maybe he is confused. I don't remember Armen Janzen going to national, and I don't think that Jalmer Johnson ever worked at this airline, at least since the U/PSA merger. I don't even know if he is or was a pilot.

He might be missing that detail, but there is not dispute that the ALPA guys are raping their membership.

Oh man, Jalmer and the rest have a massive feeding trough. Have you ever gone to a committee training at ALPA Nat'l? We did a small one, and they had a nice spread at night where all the whales came to feed. I always noticed those guys who went there put on a freshman 20. Figured it out real fast! 😛
 
I just read that ALPA has claimed responsibility for the new security procedures for pilots, as well as the Crewpass system. This is an outrage! Everyone knows that cleary singlehandedly caused these changes in favor of pilots over a 2 1/2 week period. The government knows it can't stand in the way of a unified pilot group that is the true strength of usapa. I hope cleary takes ALPA to task for trying to take credit for this. I think we should picket ALPA headquarters until they retract their obviously false claims.
 
Yes AAA was a junk airline for the past 20 years. The senior guys threw the junior guys under the bus for that long. Any airline that has 20 reserves is junk.

But now the junior guys want to throw the senior guys under the bus to steal their seats from attrition. Good luck to all of you. No honor among thieves.
Yep... I guess you're right... 1998 Wolfe used $1.8 BILLION in cash to buy back AAA stock (gearing up for the thankfully failed United merger). US Airways was flush with cash... in fact they probably had more cash on hand than most other carriers! Had Wolfe not done that... AAA would never have had to reorganize under Chapter 11, and we would not have been involved in this AWA mess!

Not only did the consultant provide a public report he provided a private report that has been hidden from the pilot group by ALPA and now USAPA.

Why have the results of this analysis not been released to the pilots? USAPA paid alot of our money for this analysis. I for one would like to see the results.

There was a very broad analysis presented to the ALPA board by the East MEC which spelled it out perfectly. And, it was made public.

Any group that has to call itself "unbiasedfacts" is likely neither.
 
Yes a quote from a pilot that works for america west pilots that ran drugs, flew drunk, crossed picket lines and stated that they will in the future. Quite an example for future pilots.

The company accepted that award and they will either honor it or we will put them out of business with law suits, your choice! One would think by now you would have figured out that we aint playing! Now let me make this part crystal clear to you so there is no mistake, I am 44 yrs old which means I have 21yrs left in this game. I can afford to sue until LCC until it is liquidated and I am just one over a thousand in my age group that thinks this very way. I have no problems doing this and then getting on with SWA, FED UPS or who ever in the next 5 yrs and STILL have pleanyt of time to recoup after starting over! Keep up your BullSht and watch and see if I'm joking!!

Get the clue before you and the rest of the east is in the bread lines...

I can't speak for the guy (or gal) sitting in the left seat with 7 or more years left but I can tell you where I stand. I have 2 more years left and I can see no reason to throw those pilots junior to me under the bus. From my point of view in the next 2 years even if we could get together and get a contract I don't think there would be much improvement in my quality of life or even for those with more time remaining. I'm no longer here for the money so I fly the minimum possible. I just can't see throwing them under the bus. Perhaps we could get the opinion of one of those pilots with 7 or more years left?

I can't speak for anyone except myself, but, would like to say I am sorry that the opportunity to meet and fly with east pilots such as yourself will be lost for members the West pilot group. Your support of your fellow east pilots is admirable, however I would disagree that supporting the results of the arbitration is "throwing those junior...under the bus".

I very much liked your Important things in life thread. My father is still with us, is 87, a WWII Navy veteran who saw North Africa and Italy. He might fit in my uniform, but I could never fill his shoes.

If this was supposed to be sarcasm, it's a little too close to the truth to be called that. I haven't seen or heard anyone try to claim that they did more than anyone else, even though I did not read a single reference to ALPA in the media until AFTER the agreement for TSA to handle pilots differently from passengers. I DID see and hear references to APA, USAPA and Mike Cleary, even watched him on Fox news. ALPA probably just couldn't get it together quickly enough. Or, they didn't see a chance to make more cash.
 
You are a former PSA pilot that got date of hire from Usiarways east pilots even though your dung airline, PSA was about to go out of business. You hedged your bets on placating the west because you thought you could walk in victorious into the new nicolau based base, PHX and get a pat on the back.

A fellow east pilot spells it out for you only leaving out the part where if there is even a hint of LCC attempting to not honor their agreement like you clowns the ultimate fate will be unemployment for all. Now that much you can bank on for sure as there is no court in the land that can offer indemnity against 1800 plaintiffs!!!
