Not quite! I did try to verify it and publicize it IF it were true which it appears not to be based upon the information I have.

Think about it logically for a second.

1. It was an international flight which means mostly senior people, many of whom are active in AFA. With a negotiation going on and the President of the airline was acting as alleged do you really think everyone would be quiet? Good God there would have been cell phone pictures in my inbox or on here within hours.

2. According to my sources the flight was removed from Cat Crew, something I was unable to verify. In journalism you need two sources, I had one, thus my appeal here for others to come forward.

3. There was a picture of the allegation from a CLT crew or bag room. Glorified graffiti if you can't get and further evidence.

4. We know that the flight was met by corporate security. We know different procedures were followed than the usual. However nobody was taken into custody and according to sources Kirby DID NOT appear to be intoxicated.

5. Doug Parker's explanation during a Crew News session. I was able to verify Parker's version of the event/incident as pretty accurate through a source in AFA.

So in the end there was no meat on the bones. Nothing to accuse Scott Kirby of because NOTHING of consequence actually happened. I've admitted this on several occasions. Would I have liked to nail his balls to the wall? In a New York minute! To me he is the poster boy for all that is wrong with American Business.

However, I want him fair and square on something he can't wiggle out of. This was NOT such an event. He didn't really do anything and if you think he did you're thick as a brick.

Fast forward to last night. apollo, who seems to be several people who have been on here prior continues to make this unfounded allegation. This is not good for anyone. He's wrong and when confronted he made the attacks personal and to this very second he has yet to provide one shred of evidence to the contrary that supports his position. I intend to call him on it

Elise said at a cocktail party the other day that any "merger partner" has to get as close to Chapter 7 (if not closer) as you guys were before anyone jumps. That way they will ensure the general feeling of being saved by the "smaller carrier" & instill a "go-along-to-get-along" / "can do attitude" with the larger carrier (much like we have here!)

No young man and I doubt those words have ever crossed you lips, I was just using your avatar as a example and not directed at you. Some time ago someone from the west suggested a USAPA forum but I didnt think much about. Now its a must.

Actually not true. Libertybell started the 1st thread with a reported rumor that Kirby had been fired. SH merely posted what he'd been told and said up front that he had no proof - quite different than alleging something is true.

Then guess who started the 2nd thread...wait for it...none other than apollo, the same one who resurrects the charges (which he claims are factual) in this thread and whenever he sees fit. Ironic that you'd not object to apollo repeatedly presenting the allegations as fact and chastise someone who is asking apollo to prove his allegations or stop making them...

I think he is just like Neo from the movie, "The Matrix".....he just see this stuff....a machine if you will. When he starts having serious health issues, they will put him on life support and keep his brain wired in order to predict the future...ya know, like the 3 people who live in the water in "Minority Report". (can't remember what they were called). VERY important positions, though.
