Don't all you westies worry about be sold off, there is no money made for us in PHX. It's all made east, you will be sold off soon I bet.
What kind of business school did you go to? If there is no money made in PHX who is going to buy us? How is the company going to sell an asset that according to you has no value?

The west keeps asking you to prove your theory. Show us the corporate books that say the west makes no money.

ever consider the idea that Republic would like to buy the West operation? Expansion opportunity......throwing you guys into the seniority mix being suffered by the Midwest/Frontier pilots? You guys want to be slotted....well, there ya go....exactly what you have wanted all along.

Honestly, give some thought to that and how it would effect you.

Reality: Like outsourced checking services, all the money goes "through" PHX, and after having management "fees" siphoned off finally makes it into the front line employee's accounts.

Like a hub, PHX originates little money but like a parasite, sucks the life blood off those who actually work. Someday the employees will awaken, take their medicine and flush the tapeworm known as tempe right out of their system. Good riddance, I say.
 
So the same would be true of PHL/CLT...you know...like a hub...

This always puzzled me - why couldn't the East make money and avoid all the give backs we had to suffer and stand alone?

Who took the money that we made, before the merger, when we were profitable?

Why did it take a merger with the West for us to show a profit?

Really it should be illegal to be making a profit and still have to go through 2!!!!! BK's.

Or were we so profitable?

Was the U profitable before the 2 BK's and merger?

I believe that USAir had noone who really wanted to manage the airline for at least 10 yrs before the merger. Everyone was using the airline like a money cow,,,,,just extracting whatever they could in cash. Look at S. Wolf.....he and his cronies left the company 3 months before our bankruptcy filing with $35 million in their pockets.....TAX FREE....USAir still paying the tax, and a retirement package, with lifetime travel benefits.

It should be totally illegal for this kind of #### to take place. they should be shot!!!
