US Pilots Labor Discussion

And we're buying the story of the righteous UAL pilot, whose mission is to defend the West guys!
All you have to do is look at the ratings of posts around here these days to see who is considered believable and who is full of $h1t.

(Guess where you fall...)

Like you did when you accused him?

I had what I believed to be credible evidence. I was wrong, I admitted it! What else would you have me do?

I've been more than fair in this and if you'd like to be an A-hole about it I can't help that. Last guy who was perfect got nailed to a cross and said he'd be back soon, well he ain't here yet and he ain't me. You seem to be angling for the job given your arrogant air. Have at it.

I know so. Don't hold your breath!

Well, when you are the moderator, you know. And your multiple screen names make all the ratings possible!   Plus, you are furloughed from UAL and here. It all makes sense. You own a BMW, you have it as your avatar, you post thousands of times on the BMW Forum. You are furloughed from here, you post thousands of times here, and not where you say you work. Get it? Do you post thousands of times on the Chrysler Forum? Any other car forum? No. You focus on what you own, and where you actually work, or did work. 2000 plus posts here, and just a few on UAL, all for some wacky story you make up as a cover about some strange jumpseat encounter where you were supposedly slighted. So that drives you to post here thousands of times. If that were true, then you truly are some really weird dude.   You make no sense, and are busted 😀

So you think there will be a card drive by IBT? I'd love to see it. Splitting the airline such that there is no representation would be a brilliant move prior to integration with AA.

You go spearhead that thing now why dontchya.

I don't have to, it's already been done. HUGE amount of support east for IBT. It's the buzz over here. What do you mean "splitting the airline"? It can't get much more split than it is right now.

Does it go good with donuts???

Nothing like good brain power energy drinks and fresh donuts,,,,oh,,forgot to add,,,IMHO.

Yep,it goes great with donuts, the problem is you can't move around much without an extension cord, and
don't ever get caught out in the rain wearing it.....

I got Doc. Emmit Browns brain wave machine all beat to heck.

Bates has courage. If our ALPA leadership had that kind of courage, we wouldn't have the present NIC and would probably be closer to a contract.

Spilt milk though...

320 Driver, standby for the moment of decision for the western pilots. The Kasher decision is going the way of the eastern pilots. You will be
compensated for your 330 flying at 200.00/hr plus. The western pilots hired by Franke Air in it's inception will want that, as will their lowest paid in the industry 757 pilots. There will be a rallying there to give up Lenidas, and all the junior clamoring will be stopped by the senior who want the $$$$ Money talks, the junior (CD, Move2, Nic4, CB53) get walked on. Your leader Cleary will finish his term on a high note, and USAPA will be lauded for accomplishing the pay restoration. Something ALPA would never have tried. ALPA would have demanded a contract to resolve the pay dispute. Cleary did the right thing, against the company and western pilots to go and take on the LOA pay. Be patient. Kasher is quite the author.

We split from a national union to create a union where the line pilot was the voice and driver of the direction of the union. Better communication. Transparency in the process. Isn't that what USAPA's C&Bl's guarantee?

Well, we all know how that went. And you really believe signing up with the Teamsters is going to somehow make things better? Amazing...

It's never been about the name on the Union HQ Door. It's always been about the people behind that door. And we know how that went too.

Honestly, you're the first person I've heard, either in the cockpit or any crew room that's beating the drum for the IBT. It's hard for me to believe this pilot group would be any better off with the IBT than USAPA. If they're selling you "DOH is in the bag if you come with us", you will be sorely disappointed once again.

Why the IBT? What are they going to do for this group that usapa can't or won't?

IBT is a "national" union with conflicts of interests. That is what you all told us you were trying to get away from or was that just lies designed to cover the real reason you left ALPA. To get out of the Nicolau.

How does a union that represents truck drivers represent pilots under the RLA and not have a conflict?

What is the IBT position on arbitration? Ask the Polar/Atlas guys or the Republic guys. Is IBT going to give us a different answer?

So why the teamsters? Is usapa not the union you all had hoped for just 3.5 years after replacing your last union? What happens if IBT can't do what you want? Just keep changing hoping for something to change. The only change will happen when enough of you old east guys leave and the attitude changes. Or a court shoves a couple rulings up your backsides.
