US Pilots Labor Discussion

I've seen plenty of pilots with small practice guitars and even keyboards. So if people want to bring their violins, I say go for it.
Is it just me or does a pilot walking around the terminal with a full size guitar strapped to his back look unprofessional?

What's all this nonsense about violins in the cockpit anyway?

(For those of you who remember Roseanne Roseannadanna)

Practice guitars, full guitars, saxamophones (as Homer says), trumpets, etc.. Have not seen a drum kit or a Cello yet, but hey, not everyone is born with a great vocal talent like this guy, Wookin pa nub.

Depends.....is s/he wearing socks???

I would say that a pilot with an instrument in a gig bag over their shoulder, trailing one rollaboard looks a lot more professional than some of the pack mules I've seen with a rollaboard loaded up with a flight bag, a computer bag, a lunchbox, and of course their ffdo man purse, with their shirt untucked and wearing black tennis shoes,,,,,,,,,, but that is just me!!!

Eye,

I never went on TV in a US Airways uniform. Stop spreading false information again, but as uSAPian why would we expect anything else from a person like you? I bet you and luvthe9 don't have the guts to PM me your name and identity, do you?

USA320Pilot

Ok, you went on TV in a USAir uniform and your Air Force uniform. Did you wear those for Halloween this year? Oh, and sadly, I live in Butler County with you, but I own my house and don't live off in-laws. Ta!

I guess as an eastie you'd know about embarrassment, wouldn't you?

I'm just a humble west pit putting these east guys in their place. Amazing how you don't make the effort to see we're these series of posts originate.

No - you're just another typical AWA pilot with a big mouth. But, we know you can't help yourselves - it is just who you are.

An east guy telling someone else he has a big mouth? God damn that's a hoot.

When you easties aren't opening those pie holes with tough talk about how you're going to take down the company, you're usually crying and capitulating.

How did the full pay to last day thing go again.

Ya, that's what I though. Typical east all bark and no bite.

I don't think I said, "westie". I said, "you", as in Move2CLT.

I cannot speak for the west, but I do know at least two east captains about ten years ago who resigned because the FOs made their lives so miserable.

But, hey, make it an east vs west thing, the only thing you and tempe are good at.

Boingo just proved your post is BS.

And save your FO BS for someone else. You have a problem with me you're off the trip.

End of story. The foot in the ass is just icing.

Aw, missy got her feelings hurt. Naw, I was talking about your and my interaction and would not presume to include anyone else from the east or the west.

Tell your daddy he talks real big, but that is nothing but hot air.

You think you talk real big, but, no pilot would ever talk like you do. Give yourself about ten years, grow up, then come on back.

I am glad to see you have backed down from your violent stance, a little. Helpful hint to you. Some of us from the east are ex-military, with a lot of special training. Touching another with the intent of violence may subject you to a response you will regret. If I were you, I would seriously consider keeping your responses on the verbal level. and do try to see a pyscho-doc.

I agree with all of that. Take a look at the average pilot's shoes these days. It looks like they came in from plowing the field. Somehow cheap, cheasy, and beat to hell has become more the rule than the exception. Not to mention the shine, or lack thereof.
