US Pilots Labor Discussion

They're not far off east rates with a LOA 93 grievance win though - actually very close when counting the two 3% raises since 1/1/2010 USAPA says are due. Are you saying that the NC is asking for less than the "guaranteed" grievance win will pay? Or lots more? Or just that the NC is so busy keeping the Nic at bay that they haven't put pay rates on the table....

Jim

No Boingo , I'm just saying that the rates that Clear put out there are nowhere near what the company is offering....

the LOA 93 grivence will be handled thru the process just like the use of the NIC...

Ok wise ass?

Those are not the rates or anythig near the rates on the table.
sorry
usapa the union designed for and by east pilots has promised industry standard rates. those are industry rates. Do you not think that usapa can deliver? Are you just used to east pilots caving to the first scrap of cash to come your way?

Those are the rates we should be looking at. If you guys are willing to walk away from them just so a few more east pilots can upgrade to $125 an hour feel free.

SHOW me where USAPA said they would get industry standard rates? I voted for USAPA and still support the union but don't remember anytime being told they promised industry standard rates.. They did say they were negotiating and industry standard contract.

I think you westies buy into the fact that the company can't afford it,
I'm glad Doug and Scooters sound bites have brainwashed you into thinking that they can't afford it...

They made 500 M last year and will make at least 100 M this year, on top of that they pay the managment industry standard or better...

I was not that far off of industry average for a guess. Looked them up from a DAL source. OK I will give you the 320 captain rates might be high at $175 but not out of line. $160 per hour. At that rate ALL of your east captains make what your wide body captains are making now. Isn’t that what you all want to make WB money?

Another week gone by an still no LOA 93 decision.

Like that statement means something? Do you think Kasher is just going to forget about it and hope it goes away on its own?

The usapa update from the grievence committee said no preliminary decision had been release, and once it is, that the parties would be given a shot at executive session, prior to release of the final award.

So..I am thinking, probably not this year...unless the grievence chair is not being truthful on the current status. Only 50 days til Christmas, and who wants all these people to have to work during the holiday season?

If it's not out by Thanksgiving, it won't be out until February. Mid-November to mid-January nothing gets done. It's like the entire country is on marijuana for 60 days, and "Just chillin', man!"

Are you now saying that usapa is going to get LESS than industry standard rates? How do you get an industry standard contract without industry rates?

Sound like you are giving up and willing to accept anything.

Aint that the truth. Holidays screw everything up.

I agree on your timeframe prediction.

And,,,,,,,I came up with a solution to all our problems....

We follow the country's lead, all take those 60 days off....go to Jamaica!!!!! See where I am heading with this???

After 60 days on the beach eatin' cornmeal porridge (of which I would share with you) and sampling the local "fare", we will all quit caring about this Nic thing, mon!

But the Mutated Mantis promised 2 weeks ago that we were days away!

I'll bet the Great Pumpkin didn't show up for him on Monday either...

Which, like usual, you will inexorably lose. Don't let my Capt foot hit your FO ass on the way out of my Airbus flight deck.
Actually, you would lose. You'd be lucky to only be fired.

Your daddy hasn't told you about that part of flying yet?
