US Pilots Labor Discussion

Is that a really crucial point?

Only if you're claiming something else...

I do know that I still check in on Catcrew.

You probably use MS Office, Word, or Works on your home computer - does using the same software mean you've had the same computer for 10-15 years? CATCREW is software and the fact that you still use it is an artifact of separate ops. Nothing more.

I still go to Decs in Saber and check various info., I still talk to schedulers in PIT, just like I used to do. Big parts of the old US are still here, rolled into one with the old AWA. You act as if the old US went out of business then we joined a renamed AWA.

But you don't check loads in Sabre, that's Shares (or QikShares). The schedulers are in PIT, but that's where the combined OCC (or whatever they call it is) - talking to the same schedulers is another artifact of separate ops and nothing more. Big parts of both airlines are still here. US didn't go out of business because of the merger, but today's US is not the pre-merger US.

Is "I still use CATCREW" or "I talk to the same schedulers" all you got? It proves nothing other than the two pilot groups haven't been integrated yet... Just because your work life hasn't changed in some respects doesn't mean that the old US is still around or that the west folks should just be tacked on after the "real" US folks get their windfall...

No, here's a couple for you: You are retired, give it up! Move on! You don't know it all! How's that?

BTW, decs never was the "loads" part of Saber. Maybe you never learned to use it for A/C tracking, flt plans etc. The fact that you would tell me that I don't even know what computer system I'm using shows how arrogant and out of touch you really are. Trust me, I know what I'm using.

Read, lad, read. Where did I say that routing and such isn't in Sabre? Nowhere that I can find. But there is plenty you can't check in Sabre - it's in Shares now. Maybe you didn't know that, or maybe it didn't fit your "It's the same old airline as always" argument. That argument was a waste of bandwidth, especially since you chose such lame items to support it.

Note 1: I've never claimed to be perfect or all knowing. You are the one claiming to always be right, not me. So save your lame insults too.

Note 2: The proper spelling is Sabre, not Saber...get a clue

Word! 😀

Read, lad, read.
Jim

Read old man, read. Where did I ever say I was checking loads in Sabre(there ya go)? I don't check the loads, they are on the release and I just figure they are full.

Old and irrelevant.

Where did I say that you did (keep digging that hole). All I said was that loads aren't in Sabre any more. Do you use the employee travel site? It ain't on Sabre. Do you use Wings? It ain't on Sabre either. Surely you do your distance learning. It ain't on Sabre. All I said is that Sabre has little compared to what it once did. Your lame attempt at trying to prove that old US is alive and well fell flat, despite the lame reasons you gave to support that fantasy.

At least you're educatable - you finally got Sabre right...

Jim

PS - not so old to not understand "word"... Unlike you, I try to keep up with things instead of making up things...

This Forum has turned into cyber WWF Wrestling.

Amazing that college educated(most of them anyway) FAA Certificated Airline Transport Pilots can conduct themselves as many have here on USAviation. One can only hope that 2012 brings final legal resolution to Section 22 and we can MOVE ON to better wages and working conditions.

Oh well, back to Fox News for a breath of fresh air.......

Brat, hope you get to feeling better- it's a full moon and you appear frustrated from getting your a$$ kicked by your own words. You ok buddy???

You are WRONG on all counts. We are not starting over. I report to work on the same computers, in the same crew room then fly mostly the same planes I did before the merger. It's just that now it they are parts of another company. That's called a merger.

We are still paying, subsidizing people like you.

No gamble, just making life decisions with the best info. I had at the time.

Let it go? NEVER. I had planned on that, but now because of people like you I will fight you until I retire.
Ok, have fun.

I'll be here listen and watching you fight me as I make more money than you.

And your airline no longer exists so you are starting over.
