Pay attention please...joint contract with lcc implements the NIC per the TA. If in doubt please call bob siegel or review the public Federal Court docs. He is the attorney for lcc. He spoke in front of Federal Judge Silver 12/01/11 stating such as counsel for lcc/dj lawsuit against usapa/west class....😉

Plus, there are many other Federal Court documents that state the same thing in regards to this for your viewing pleasure or pain...take your pick in regards to the pain.

Yes, yes we all know that. How does it happen without a joint contract? That is still the question you guys cannot seem to answer.

Update for January 14, 2012: US Airways-America West Pilot JNC Contract, What USAPA Gave Up, Part 7 of 9

Dear Subscriber,

Update for January 14, 2011

Quick Fact #220: In the fall of 2007 the ALPA JNC was incrementally completing sections of the new post-merger pilot joint contract. One important section being finalized was the company provided Group Life Insurance Policy. For more information on the company's September 25, 2007 Life Insurance proposal take a look at report in the Link to Article below.

USAPA has not completed this contract section and this week the NAC informed the membership that following the January 27, 2012 negotiating session "further NMB mediated sessions for subsequent months appear to be unlikely." Has the time come for US Airways' pilots look for a new direction and seek representation by the only national union that represents major airline pilots with USAPA?

Who said it would be implemented without a joint contract? There'll eventually be a joint contract, whether that's for US or US+a merger partner. If it's with a merger partner there'll likely be another TA for the transition plus another combined list that includes those pilots, but at the end of that merger process there'll be a joint contract.

I was looking at USAPA's latest LM-2 the other day and was surprised how few agency payers there are - less than 400. Even if all of them are west pilots, the West MIGS and east pilots who are tired of LOA 93 ready to move on and a decent contract could be voted in.

Jim

Are you a former CLT ALPA rep?

Why? Does that make his postings any less true than they already are? Oh yea, I forgot....

Its not our [The East's] fault! We blame _____________ for our woes.

1. ALPA National (sold us out)
2. Nicolau (old and senile)
3. Chip (influential talker)
4. Judge Silver (western hick judge)
5. Kasher (LOA 93 - he was ill and unable to render a proper decision)
6. Judge Conrad (did not truly understand our effort)
7. Judge Wake (western hick judge)
8. Seham (found out he sucked and lied to us)
9. Cleary (starting to see he's kind of nuts)
10. AoL (ALPA secretly feeding money to them)

11. Senior Captains (sold us out)
12. Angry FOs (holding us hostage)
13. Parker (won't do what we tell him to do)
14. Bular (in it for himself)
15. Company (anti-East and giving our flying to the west)
16. Move2CLT (his truth is starting to set us free)

The answer is simple. Don't confuse not implemented with not existing. Prior to 1/1/2010, how many easties were convinced that pay restoration to LOA 84 levels and the return of the 3% annual raises existed but hadn't been implemented. Why would you or any other eastie argue the opposite for a single list. The integrated list does actually exist, in compliance with the transition agreement, but hasn't been implemented yet, also in compliance with the transition agreement.

If Parker doesn't know anything else, he knows that if USAPA and the company modify the transitiion agreement to allow use of another integrated US list a hybrid DFR will be filed within a week or two. Do you really think he'd put up with a couple of years delay and miss out on a possible acquisition of AA? Nope, he's just waiting for a court to give him cover for insisting that the Nic be used.

Jim

Exactly.

Please lay off the FUD.... it's not becoming... we are all grown boys and girls and can take care of ourselves.

Also when DP stops spitting in my face I'll consider becoming a company guy.

It just amazes me that you guys don't get more pissed off at his constant dribble... of how they are trying to get a contract and the company is showing up... BFD.
DP may be spitting in your face, but you keep missing what Cleary's doing to you via your six o'clock.

One of the CLT CPs was on a west flight heading to PHX for what was, according to him, a big meeting. He was an all-around jack wagon during the flight out. Idiot didn't realize he was getting fired.

And it looks like it was a great move. When you have the CLT reps Moe, Larry, and scab in CLT sending out an email thanking them, you can bet they were a part of the work action.

This was on the USAPA Website Earlier then they took it down...probably because the idiots that put it out were told by Legal that this "update" is clearly suggesting violating the now PERMANENT INJUNCTION as well as containing thinly veils threats against their management. All 3 of these idiots need to be fired.

The supreme Irony here is that they fail to draw the conclusion that the behavior they're describing is the VERY SAME that they have joyfully and mercilessly assaulted the West with...only to fail again and again.

CLT Special Update - Charlotte Chief's Massacre: January 13, 2012

After reading the January 13th CBS Message from Lyle Hogg regarding the recent terminations of your CLT Chief Pilots, we shake our heads in total disbelief and disgust, as once again we are witnessing the total disconnect of Team Tempe's Senior Management from our pilots. The disingenuous account of yesterday's action is illustrative of upper management's continued abhorrent behaviors that define our very broken Safety Culture.

These former airline pilots continue to clearly display their hypocrisy, arrogance, and vindictiveness that we are already all too familiar with. The truth and ultimate clarity about yesterday's actions brings us pause as we take a moment to thank Captain's Pate, Bewely, and Newhart for paying the ultimate career sacrifice for attempting to bring sanity to the insane asylum that Bular and Hogg administer at our airline.

Yesterday, January 12th at the conclusion of the Crew News circus-sideshow, presented by "on time at all cost" Robert Isom, accompanied by "sell your souls for the bonus checks" Lyle Hogg and Ed Bular, the entourage gathered a task force of US Airways HR personal and entered your Charlotte Chief Pilots office. Without forewarning and after exchanging pleasantries at the training center, Bular and Hogg began the process of removing Capt. Skip Pate, CLT Regional Director as well as Capt's Bill Bewely and Brian Newhart from their Chief Pilots duties. It is Team Tempe's belief that our Chief Pilots were too soft on our pilots during the recent kangaroo courts that Bular, Hogg, and Schmidt contrived into "slow taxi" hearings.

The fact that these hearings did not deliver to Isom, Bular, and Hogg their prescribed number of warnings, disciplinary time off, and terminations of our line pilots was of great concern (read peeved them off) to these pilot bashers, so they took their frustrations and anger out on our Chief Pilots (all former Piedmont Pilots). After attending more than 100 of these Tempe directed hearings, we considered the CLT Chief Pilot's actions and demeanor professional, by rendering proper actions of no discipline, as these men managed fair and impartial investigative hearings. Never mind the fact that, just as these Tempe flight department managers attempted to do with their failed fuel school inquisitions, they were once again attempting to question the judgment of experienced Airline Captains with impeccable credentials, including anywhere from 25 to 40 years in the cockpit and 20 to 30 thousand hours, on their ability to manage their FAR guaranteed Captain's authority. The failures of Bular and Hogg to see the forest through the trees of these flawed hearings led ultimately to the removal of our Chief Pilots on Thursday.

What Lyle Hogg failed to mention in his CBS is that Captain's Pate, Bewley, and Newhart tirelessly managed their office and duties while adhering to the past principles and ethics that were once the foundation of our airline. These men continually administered discipline fairly and even-handedly even though they were being directly ordered to deliver prescribed results, to predetermined pilots, as they were interfered with, and pressured by those in Tempe.

Ladies and Gentlemen, never forget who we are working for. These men formerly from Pittsburgh and now hailing from Arizona continuously make a mockery of our profession as they perpetually find new ways to disrespect our pilots. Never forget that Doug Parker, Scott Kirby and Robert Isom could never get away with these unethical tactics and behaviors unless former airline pilots were willing to turn their backs on their once fellow aviators, and sell their professional integrity and souls, leaving the line pilot in the cold for their own personal gains.

We can only imagine what is in store for the future. After these events, it is difficult not to view anyone who enters these offices after this massacre, as nothing but the administrative puppets of Team Tempe who will ultimately operate at the whims of Ed Bular and Lyle Hogg. The demonstrated result of Thursday's blood-letting proves what occurs if attempts at advocacy for our pilots and profession is practiced. Going forward, those who step into these offices are only there because they have pledged to work for those who choose to disadvantage, intimidate, and harm our pilots.

We will add the names of Captain Pate, Bewely and Newhart to our list of heroes, even as senior management continues their attempts to intimidate and destroy our profession. On behalf of the 1200 + Charlotte pilots, thank you gentlemen for your service and dedication to our profession, and your attempts to stop the madness.

The actions of upper management speak volumes as their intentions clearly are to keep us all in the basement, beaten and battered, in order to protect their million dollar bonus packages.

Shame on you Ed Bular, Lyle Hogg, and Ed Schmidt; may the ax you swing never bounce back in your direction as you are no longer welcome in our ranks! Captain Galleron, we have our eyes on you, as your masters are fully exposed; in this environment can pilot advocacy possibly prevail?

Never forget the management we work for is committed to diminish your self-worth in their efforts to keep us in the industry cellar. Thank you all for protecting the safety and integrity of our airline and our profession. .

If USAPA had not engaged in an illegal job action would these CPs have gotten fired?

SHOCKING, the usapa pickleballers actually had this letter on their website? After usapa pickleballers agreed to terms of the permanent injunction, then they go slap the judge in the face and try to say they are going to slow down again? You got to be kidding me. All i got to say is EAST pilots you have no cred man, anything you say has to be believed as false. What a way to live your life no character, no credibility. shame on you, is there not one TEBOW among you that will stand up and do the right thing?
