Recently I was in the CLT hotel where the USAPA volunteers stay. As I was walking through the 3rd floor hallway returning to my room from dinner on Monday evening at around 8 pm, the hotel was very quiet but I could hear a very loud voice. As I walked toward my room, the voice became even louder and I could plainly hear that it was you speaking on the telephone. I went into my room, which was adjacent to your room, and you were speaking so loudly that I was literally forced to hear this telephone conversation coming from your room. I say forced, because your conversation was being conducted at such a very high volume that I had no opportunity to not hear what was taking place. For the record, there is a witness to all of this.



And what I was hearing was very disturbing Gary, and therefore feel compelled to bring this to your attention and to the attention of the Board. These are some of the words spoken by you that evening:



· Eric Ferguson and l will work together during the election; we have a very strong relationship.

· We will cooperate and concentrate on beating Cleary and we plan on keeping it cordial between us, although Eric is going to run for President.

· Cleary is delusional, he has lost it if he thinks he can tell me who I can talk to. I will call the DOL about the Cleary letter to Seham.

· Seham had better sue Ken and Barbie.

· I asked Eric to stop the "the west backs Cleary" stickers; he said they were old news and that they would work together although Eric will run for President.

· I will forward the letter that Cleary wrote to Seham to Bradford.



What is highly problematic here Gary is that you are an Officer of USAPA. For you to be conspiring with one of the founders of Leonidas to harm your fellow officer, in this case the USAPA President, is very clearly placing the goals of the majority of the pilot group in great jeopardy. Conspiring with a group that is involved in a long standing legal battle to deprive the majority of the USAPA pilots of their rightful seniority is a shameful, traitorous act.



Over the next few weeks our attorneys will be engaged in confidential briefings on the Phoenix Declaratory litigation strategy with the officers and BPR. At that time, the BPR may be asked to make decisions regarding our strategy. Those members of the Board who are directly antagonistic to our fight to preserve the Seniority rights have in the past rightfully recused themselves from those deliberations. Since you have now aligned yourself with the Leonidas group and those who would cause serious harm to the lives of the majority of our members, I call upon you to also recuse yourself from those deliberations. It is simply unacceptable for the Board to have one who has in effect declared himself to be an ally of the antagonistic parties in the Phoenix litigation be present while we receive advice from and make decisions with our attorneys. In the absence of your voluntary recusal, I will ask the board to bar you from any deliberations regarding the Phoenix case.

A special thank you is in order to our super hero, Reed R. Why you may ask? Well, simply put, RR has allowed many of us in the west to really see what a$$hats many on the east are. Without RR and his bud Stevie B nobody on the west would have really seen the extent of dickheadness which exists in the east ranks because the west ALPA reps took such great care in filtering the bull$h! Garbage the easties were throwing our way on a daily basis. But alas, with the birth of USAPA in the back seat of a van the west got a quick, raw and in-our-face intro to the deceitful, hateful eastie ways without any national oversight filtering things. So now the west can feel no remorse and feel completely free of sorrow for whatever misfortune awaits the pathetic east pilot group- be it terminal pay and work rules on an indefinite bankruptcy contract or fragmentation to a furlough because professional pilot groups like UAL want nothing to do with you, all of us out west can sleep peacefully at night knowing we kicked you all in the nuts and really made it hurt. Thank ou Reed, enjoy your life. We sure are gleefully enjoying ours out west. Best to all...

What was the offer? I am certain there was no offer.

The ignorant east , who to this day has no idea of their position, made demands, not offers. As I recall it went something like, we are not doing this Nic thing, or we throw ALPA off the property.

On the way back down the alley I was contemplating why I was carrying Max’s beer. A fellow in the alley disturbed my reverie by walking up to us and asking, "Excuse me, are you with Braniff by any chance?"

"No, sorry." I said assuming he was an Air 2000 pilot.

"Ah ha! You’re with America West," he cackled gleefully.

Fire bells should have gone off already, but Max and I looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders saying, "Yes. How did you know?"

"It was your accent," he said with the look of a hawk eyeing a road kill.

It was too late. There was no going back now.

My friend at SWA heard this from a Franke Employee posing as a USAirways pilot: "I am one of the good guys" as he handed his ID to them. They about busted their guts at the egregious pompous union buster! Of course they both knew the truth about the Franke Legions.

Every eastern pilot should be afraid of the scabs of Franke who will rise again at any opportunity to further their OWN personal aganda, covered by AOL or reform USAPA. Either one is a scab aganda that furthers the principles of Bill Franke to further personal western agendas of individual fulfillment at the peril of American virtues and rights. Franke Air has trained legions of Mesa pilots who will take any and all American jobs for their personal fulfillment.
 
The east pilots cleaned planes during the 30 day cooling off period and during the M&R Strike in 1992.

You probably werent even around then.

And ALPA made a sweetheart deal with the company to cross the picket line, US grounded all the MD-80s, DC-9s, F28s, F100s and the 737-200s, and EVERY pilot got paid for the trips, when the company didnt have too.
