US Pilots Labor Discussion

A scab is in essence an opportunist. They choose to advance their careers at the expense of others. They take a situation that could be suited to helping lift ALL of the people involved and choose instead to think only of themselves and craft a scheme to undercut their once fellow employees.

Every employee group at US looks at the Claxon Clan as scabs in the truest sense of the word. Their actions are directly responsible for denying them the gains and benefits that the merger could provide and instead forces them to absorb only the downside.

Claxon, you've out Franke-ed Franke. Aren't you proud?

Gary,

Recently I was in the CLT hotel where the USAPA volunteers stay. As I was walking through the 3rd floor hallway returning to my room from dinner on Monday evening at around 8 pm, the hotel was very quiet but I could hear a very loud voice. As I walked toward my room, the voice became even louder and I could plainly hear that it was you speaking on the telephone. I went into my room, which was adjacent to your room, and you were speaking so loudly that I was literally forced to hear this telephone conversation coming from your room. I say forced, because your conversation was being conducted at such a very high volume that I had no opportunity to not hear what was taking place. For the record, there is a witness to all of this.

And what I was hearing was very disturbing Gary, and therefore feel compelled to bring this to your attention and to the attention of the Board. These are some of the words spoken by you that evening:

· Eric Ferguson and l will work together during the election; we have a very strong relationship.

· We will cooperate and concentrate on beating Cleary and we plan on keeping it cordial between us, although Eric is going to run for President.

· Cleary is delusional, he has lost it if he thinks he can tell me who I can talk to. I will call the DOL about the Cleary letter to Seham.

· Seham had better sue Ken and Barbie.

· I asked Eric to stop the "the west backs Cleary" stickers; he said they were old news and that they would work together although Eric will run for President.

· I will forward the letter that Cleary wrote to Seham to Bradford.

What is highly problematic here Gary is that you are an Officer of USAPA. For you to be conspiring with one of the founders of Leonidas to harm your fellow officer, in this case the USAPA President, is very clearly placing the goals of the majority of the pilot group in great jeopardy. Conspiring with a group that is involved in a long standing legal battle to deprive the majority of the USAPA pilots of their rightful seniority is a shameful, traitorous act.

Over the next few weeks our attorneys will be engaged in confidential briefings on the Phoenix Declaratory litigation strategy with the officers and BPR. At that time, the BPR may be asked to make decisions regarding our strategy. Those members of the Board who are directly antagonistic to our fight to preserve the Seniority rights have in the past rightfully recused themselves from those deliberations. Since you have now aligned yourself with the Leonidas group and those who would cause serious harm to the lives of the majority of our members, I call upon you to also recuse yourself from those deliberations. It is simply unacceptable for the Board to have one who has in effect declared himself to be an ally of the antagonistic parties in the Phoenix litigation be present while we receive advice from and make decisions with our attorneys. In the absence of your voluntary recusal, I will ask the board to bar you from any deliberations regarding the Phoenix case.

Mike Cleary

Ya know it's election season...Cleary is already slinging mud...

Jim
Oh PLEASE tell me this was actually written by chief idiot Cleary!  It's got McCarthyism sprinkled with paranoia Nixon all over it. Cleary is going to be frigging CREAMED in this election...that is of course West pilots decide he's the best choice to ensure the Nic. Which as of now, he most certainly is.

No one cared the first time you posted it, so you had to post it again?

Go wait for the great pumpkin...he is coming for you!

Enough BS. You cross a legal picket line manned by fellow pilots and you are scab, plain and simple. I don't care who thinks what. It is what it is. Many of you posters, by your own proffesion, are "scabs in waiting".

Aren't YOU proud?

There is no such thing as scab on scab job actions.

I'll be proud the day we bury USAPA.

An eastie questioning another pilot's integrity? Laughable and inconsequential.

Remember, you guys made an agreement as to how the SLI would be decided, struck for the med/arb, and then walked away from that.

Aren't YOU proud?

If USAPA calls a strike with S22 still open, we will step over you. Your strike would be illegitimate and carry no negative consequences.

Hear, hear!!! I'll race you to CLT. I'd TDY and ramp up to 100 a month. In a heartbeat.

Since I saw you removed what you said....I deleted it out of my quote

To be honest fifi I almost choked on my coffee when I turned on the computer and saw that
Sorry about that. I'm not really a morning person w/o caffeine or other stimulant. My apologies.

So what? Other than a political attack who cares. Of the 6 bullet points there is nothing illegal or wrong about working with someone. As a matter of fact it shows there are east pilots with the ability to work with west pilots unlike Cleary.

As far as Cleary accusing Hummel of conspiring. It was Cleary that secretly went to DFW without telling the board to talk to Ferguson about making a deal before the DJ hearing. The same meeting where Cleary was told to pound sand. Talk about a hypocrite!

I love this line.

For you to be conspiring with one of the founders of Leonidas to harm your fellow officer, in this case the USAPA President, is very clearly placing the goals of the majority of the pilot group in great jeopardy.

Cleary goes to DFW to conspire but it is OK for him but no one else. Cleary accusing someone else of harming a fellow officer is a joke. Cleary has been doing it for years. How about the VP shoving the S/T into a door frame? (allegedly) Also great DFR evidence. The president of the union admitting that he wants to harm the minority. If the goals of the majority are to harm the minority it is a DFR.

Is that what made you feel better about yourself in Australia? "There is no such thing as an international strike " I think I heard you say. A lawyer as well as a scab, what a surprise.

Why did you vote one in to represent you? And you have one speaking for your union as well.

Why is it you fail to mention that? Everything you refer to on our side happened long ago. You guys have not only accepted yours, but have done so with open arms and allowed them to work for your union.

Hypocritical, no?

A pilot who reneges on a mutually agreed upon arbitration in order to steal another pilot's job is worse than a scab.

Your union is so bad even the IBTwant no part of it.

Are you proud of yourself?

I agree let's bury the BS and get rid of the cancer of USAPA.

For the record, I do care who thinks what. They will be held accountable for their actions.
