I know, I know everyone on the east is a captain and everyone has a second better paying job. Can't tell you how many crews I ride the van with that has 2 captains (at least 4 stripes on the jacket).

Here are the facts: When an eastie called someone a rookie I winced, because I have a west friend that lets that term bug him. When I saw scab, it made me mad as I don't personally know any west pilots that were scabs. I hate it when I'm called one and don't want that term thrown around so loosely.

I really just don't get it. It means one thing, that that person was a captain. It's allowed by the FOM, so why is it an issue? Is it because the west has captain reclaim rights(or whatever they call it) and they see so many people that could upgrade ahead of them if that provision is retained? I'd really like to know.

It's possible. He is on here all the time, must not be flying the line. Could be just another West Angry F/O. I laugh every time I see "Angry FO", it appears as if there are many more WAFO's than EAFO's. I can see why when the only way a Westie can upgrade is to come East.
