US Pilots Labor Discussion

Nicolas could be used in an AA union ???

The NIC award was specific, pertaining only to the US merger with AW. Though it brings up a good question... If it is put into effect, and a merger with AA takes place with the seniority issue decided by DOH; how are the hire dates chosen for the combined USAirways pilot group while keeping the same relative position?
Wrong. It pertains to "the pilots in service of" the two airlines. It's Directly binding upon the pilots. The company as well.

No mechanism for moving off LOA93 and no means to pressure the company.

If that's not the definition of dead in the water...

It's what the Company wants. It makes the Company profitable. It demonstrates that without LOA93 and separate ops, they can not run a profitable airline. That should concern all.

Glad to see you've taken up the cause all these years to prove them right. And it looks like you'll be doing it for a long time.

The company and my profit sharing check thank you.

Let me guess...you expected and hoped on the promise of snap back wages of the late COMPLETE failure arbitration of usapa?

Get over it...the east would not exist without bankrupt wages/and a contract better known as LOA93.

BTW, hows the C scale on the E190 for some of you guys?

To answer your first line, no I did not expect pay restoration of the ALPA endorsed give back.

I was over it in 2003, are you over it? LOA 93 seems to be a huge obsession with the West.

Finally, I do not know because I do not fly the E-190.

NLG

It looks to me like NLG understands the biggest problem of all. I suppose it could be considered fun to play in the gamesmanship of who has it worse in the meantime, but frankly it looks comical. Not to mention it's a red herring in the grand scheme.

I'm glad you're starting to see the light NLG...Joint contract with the company implements the NIC via the ALPA and now usapa endorsed/inherited CONTRACT called the TA.

Embarrassment of the industry is known as LOA93 and the so-called mainline rates on the E190.

The only combined system seniority list at LCC is the Nicolau award. So, not only could the Nic be used, it is the only list available to use.

Also, the completely ironic thing about your question and DOH, is the only list that is actually in DOH order is the AWA seniority list. Both the east list and the AA list are not in DOH order, and the AA list is far from being in a DOH order. So, in an AA/LCC merger, seniority integration would happen based on the AA list and the Nic, and an individuals personal DOH would not be the driving factor of where they fell on the combined list.

In your opinion it's the nic,, are you serious? we are in the legal process remember?
some of you guys are not too smart.
