Not sure why you are addressing this to me, but I can tell when you are worked up, you drag out the "hair".

Has cactuspilot posted the docs? I didn't see them.
Yes hair Pi they should be up. And I noticed you were using uhaul so I wanted to keep it formal as well. Believe me, I don't get worked up here. MM? That's a different story.

And I addressed it to you because MM is worthless for a coherent thought.

Ours usually have a few upgrades on it though.

You know if we were having that bid with Nic in place, with our filling of vacancies, those 6 757 captains (and probably a few AB captains) would most likely go to east guys, right? Are you in favor of keeping your provision of displaced captains have preference on captain vacancies? I'm not exactly sure how it works, but could be beneficial to both sides. What do you think?

Pi,

I ran into a senior 75 sim instructor yesterday and we talked a while. He says that starting next month things are going to get busy in the training dept, kicking off with the first initial training class in awhile. He says they will be busy for a long time.

Practice what you preach Pi, right? I want the Nic and EVERYTHING that comes with it - good or bad.

We out west understand and accept that. Unlike you guys who like to cherry pick because of your entitlement attitudes.

Once the Nic is in place, it's open season. What say you Pi?

Ya, I can't wait. Once the Nic is place those guys will be training upgrading west pilots for a long time.

Ya, sure.

As we were wrapping up the conversation and and starting to go on our ways, when I asked if he thought the NIC would impact training. He laughed and said that word has it that that will never be a factor. Idk, but he is a level headed, fair and honest guy.

It is not just displaced captains.

All pilots have reinstatement rights to their Seat, Domicile, Equiptment.

For instance, on the east, if a CLT 330 f/o were displaced, s/he would retain a right of first refusal to CLT/330/fo. In the bid s/he could go to any position, so lets say s/he can hold PHL 320 captain and chooses that, but lives in CLT and now has to commute. Then a year later the company has a vacancy bid, that includes CLT/330/fo, this pilot would have a right of first refusal to take their former position from which they were involuntarily displaced.

I to just finished up training they told us about 100 or so this year and approx 230 or so next year. Should be some good movement for all, and of course the NIC is never going to happen. Oh well.

well lookie here, if it ain't "i've been making more since 01-01-2010".

Did they remind you in training that you are under injunction and still on LOA93?

As to the Nic,,,"never going to happen",,,once again a usapa supporter proves his ignorance. News flash here luv9, Nic already happened (past tense).

So, here is my predicament, since there is going to be sooo much movement on the east, do I apply for a CLT checkairman position, or do I let Move2CLT go after that position? hmmm, decisions....decisions.

Oh, and since these positions, and the CPs and fleet managers etc, are not subject to the pilots seniority roster, I would say if the company ignores West applications, it is just more fuel to collusion with the scab union fire. So, expect to see a West pilot doing your next AQP, and I am pretty certain s/he would have a different take on how the movement will go.

PS. The West would welcome any east pilots to the PHX training department with open arms.

Yep, sunny and 58 right now and headed for about 75. Really stinks to have to fly out here with the best pilot group in the industry.

Enjoy your exile 🙂 We certainly would not want to break you away from "the best pilot group in the industry"

Funny thing. A fair, honest, and level-headed west instructor said just the opposite.

Imagine that.
