US Pilots Labor Discussion

while i don't hold what he says against him, there are others that might. Not too smart to be sticking your head up in no mans land when you're on probation.

You mean that there are easties that would attempt to get this guy fired for having a different opinion? Say it ain't so....

Jim

Are there westies that would deny a jumpseat to a guy for saying date of hire is the only way to go? Are their easties that would do the same to a NIC supporter? I think we all know the answer to both of these questions. You and I both know its not out of the realm of possibility that someone might. Even you Jim, have to agree that its not a smart thing to do when you're on probation.

So Gunther, whatt does he have to worry about?

Physical harm? Harassment? Termination?

All three?

LOL Koontzy....the only physical harm i've ever seen anyone intentionally commit was the west pilot that ambushed and beat the hell out of that flight attendants ex-husband in the parking lot next to the soccer field. Harassment? You mean like the harassment that the junior west pilots used to threaten the senior west captains to join Leonidas by denying them the ability to pick up trips by using the no-fly feature? Termination? Do you mean section 29 terminations? People get fired for a lot of different reasons. Saying the wrong thing to the wrong person is just one of the reasons.

I don't think it's smart to screw up while on probation, but obviously some consider having a different opinion than theirs constitutes "screwing up." To me it's a scummy person that would attempt to or actually punish another pilot for merely having a different opinion. I can see how all the easties claim that "everyone I fly with agrees with me" - the question is how many of the people they fly with are fearful of repercussions from voicing their opinion...

You're right Jim....I don't know what i was thinking. He has nothing to worry about.....because we don't have any scummy people working for this company.

Holy crap that was funny.

Is that like when one USAPA officer beat up another USAPA officer? Or how about a USAPA officer impersonating a lawyer and then "losing" the evidence.

Or how bout that email threatening Hummel supporters?

And everyone over her joined AOL quite willingly. You guys helped out with that do thanks.

So who are you going to threaten next?

Obviously you believe some of your fellow easties fit that description, hence the warning to "keep his head down."

I don't recall any of those events resulting in a court date, a termination, or even being called into the chief pilots office over. You got 35% of the vote in the last election. You'll get 35% of the vote in the runoff. No matter what happens in the DJ, things are not going to move forward. The pilot group is split. You won't see Parker put out a contract that will pass until he absolutely has to. As a stand alone airline, that will be years. We are parked in case you didn't notice. If there is a merger, there will be more years of negotiating a new contract. Notice the Continental/United pilots aren't even close to a contract either. This place will remain a quagmire for years to come. Neither side will be able to force things down the other ones throat for a long, long time. Instead, we will sit here....plodding along just the way things are. I will say this .......things are changing.....at a glacial pace. Don't expect a thaw anytime soon.

Doesn't matter what I think Jim.......What do you think?

Do you think that there are those on the East or the West for that matter that would wish or like to see harm come to someone for disagreeing with what they say?

So no opinions while you're on probation?

And if you're senior you're allowed to threaten probationary pilots?

You easties - tsk tsk.

Shut up. Shut up you smf. You know what Gunter is saying. You will use 3rd listers as they favor you, but no farther.

Let's see what Silver says. Then let's see what the company does with the court's backing.

We may all be surprised.

Don't know what that has to do with your threats BTW.

LMAO Koontzy.....no one here has been threatened by me. A threat would be if someone said....I'm going to have you terminated! or....I'm going to beat your ###.....or I'm going to tell your wife about the flight attendant you're running around with. Or I'm going to file RICO charges against you. Simply pointing out that its not smart to say controversial things when you're on probation is nowhere close to a threat. It's simply an observation. Obviously you believe that everyone on the East is a saint and I must be out of line for pointing this out since no one on the east has ever done anything to try and harm a west pilot for their point of view. Or was that you complaining about the RICO charges from a couple of years ago?
