This last one gives me pause. How exactly do we know you're a pilot? You don't act in a Professional manner? You're condescending and rude. These are not pilot traits I've observed in my ten years flying US Airways. Ditto for F/A's.

No offense eariler.....just trying to make my own point clear.

Well, let's see. The fact that I'm highly knowledgeable about pilot stuff, the fact that the easties don't doubt my profession, the fact that I can carry on a conversation regarding various union topics, etc etc.

But I'd understand you having doubt as you have no aviation background to baseline me off of.

You're an occasional passenger, if that, with a disturbing fascination with pilot issues. You have no qualifications to judge anyone on this board as most of your posts prove.

The fact that you doubt me being a pilot has no relevance. You're just a pilot groupie trying to belong. You don't belong and that kills you.

Did you want to be a pilot and not see that come to fruition?

You're so wrong on the groupie part. Honestly I wouldn't want a job like yours. Don't want the responsibility. Frankly if you bust your butt slinging copiers you can make TOS pilot income after 3 to 4 years in the business. No one I know ever got killed selling a copier.

I will concede this however. I have worked not quite half my life working music events part time. One of the things I noticed is musicians aren't doing it for the money. It isn't what they do, rather it's who they are. When I got interested in airlines beyond getting the upgrade I noticed that pilots are much the same as musicians in that it's who they are, not what they do. Police and Fire Fighters are that way too.

It's also the reason that the pilot group is sooooo divided in this situation. For the pilot it's more about flying instead of all the things that are involved with the profession. Flying is what it's all about and as we see with LOA93 money isn't the all important driver that it would be in say Sales. It's why it's hard for a non pilot to understand. In order to be a great Salesperson and Sales Trainer it requires one to know people. I have a natural curiosity in this regard, always had it.

So here I was ten years ago with all these preconceived notions when I joined this forum. What a learning experience it has been. I thought I knew something but found out I knew nothing. Now i'm somewhere in the middle of that curve trying to move forward. Perhaps now that we understand each other a more civil and respectful dialog could occur?

Boo boo, you must pay people for those pluses. Your posts are despicable and nasty. You can't possibly be a pilot. You post too much to be away
in a plane. Of course you realize this is a PUBLIC forum, right? Those who read here stay silent for the most part. You need to go for a va ca in the cornfield.

I think it would be a good idea for you guys to delay Silver's decision, if possible, and see what the Hummel team wants to work on. After all, Hummel was accused of having a connection with Ferguson. Again, once Silver makes her decision, you guys are out of cards to play and are just along for the ride.

You don't even know who's suing usapa do you? You scab clowns have to be the dumbest people on earth, who do you think is suing you in phx clown? I'll give you a hint, it's not the west or aol.

If you are sincere about the greed/selfishness, etc......you and the West pilots need to have AOL send a letter to Parker and Judge Silver stating that you will come off the NIC and seek fairness instead of threatening lawsuits.

The East pilots have advantage in this chess game and time is on our side......not out of greed, but out of fairness as to what we brought to the table. You are looking at maybe 5 yrs until the seniority issue stabilizes in your favor. We can wait that long. I believe that with Hummel running USAPA, the union is not the big bad boogie man that you fear (which is what is should have been in the first place), and you will get a fair deal. The East pilots just want to finish out their careers on a decent note, which we feel that we have paid for with LOA93.

Thanks for the (stupid) advice but I believe the west will stay the course and fight for what is right. That is, after all, what this is all about - NOT allowing you to rescue your failed career on our backs.

That greed in your attitude is just screwing yourself. Soon I will upgrade to A320 Cpt and I start drawing PBGC money this fall
