Well once again you prove you have not a clue. Cleary was putting it to Parker regarding "fuel school" when this guy you point out....everyone out east knows him took on Cleary and said "my money is on Mr. Parker" oooooppppsssss...turns out Cleary was dead on. They had no SPECIFIC evidence on the guys who were called in ...IT WAS ALL RANDOM....who was brought in and who wasn't. Please keep showing us how stupid and ill informed you are!

Man you guys are naive. You guys still think we're living in the 90's.

The company tracks everything now and they know which Captain is doing what. Those guys that were called in had egregious burns that fell so far out of the bell curve that it was quite obvious what they were doing. There was nothing random about it. The company doesn't work that way.

And Cleary has yet to put anything to Parker. Parker has made a fool of Cleary on more than one occasion. You give your idiot savant way too much credit.

And thanks to the way you guys played that fuel school thing with that pathetic ad in the usatoday, you helped Parker choose the Cactus callsign.

Great work Cleary.

You can blame the woefully inept RLA and NMB board for allowing the east pilots to drag this process out for as long as it has with still no end date in sight. Read the posts on this board and look at the most recent representational election to see if the east pilots even want a JCBA. Clearly they don't or they would drop the NIC redo fantasy and move on. The NMB parked negotiations because there was zero benefit to continuing to meet when Management says anything but the NIC is a DFR that exposes both the union and the Company to significant legal risk, but USAPA maintains the untenable position that they are free to present any seniority list they like in direct defiance to the DFR provisions and the collective bargaining agreement known as the TA.

The FAs just rejected the TA negotiated and presented by their own leadership. This was the first chance they had to complete the integration and get off the bankruptcy contracts they have had and they decided the grass will be greener down the road. No telling if they are right, but if they didn't remain coupled to the intransigent pilots for five years, they would have been much further along in this process by now.

The capital investment community knows this and they are obviously lining up behind Parker again to put the best presentation to the UCC so as to make the case for a merger. Accepted or rejected, you can bet that the Parker/Kirby proposal will make a compelling case for bringing the last two big merger partners together and they will have the promised cash to make the deal work. Furthermore, unlike DL, Horton is playing into Parker's hand by showing that AA's stand alone exit plan will be worse for labor than what Parker will present. I think the odds are high that the US/AA merger deal will get done.

The vast majority of posts on this board are truly triple dribble trivel drivel nonsense, those are just the facts.

Rarely do I see a post on this topic that makes sense, well this post is the winner. Parker has the financial backing, the dude knows what he is doing. Great post, it should be post of the year. Can he pull it off? Time will tell, but a merger would be best for the vast majority of parties involved with the two airlines, those are the facts Go Park, you da man, the smartest guy in aviation today

Yeah, all hail Parker. Three cheers, yip, yip, yip.. Hooooray.. Sickysack!

Has EastUS picked up a protege'? How long until the dreaded dogfight threat is made?

It's amusing that you perceive a long ago made recreational wager, one that any semblance of an actual "pilot" would certainly have understood as such, as somehow a "threat"...No matter...With the likes of yourself and the vast majority of west posters here: Why would I even bother?

Yep. Just like the US Airways name.
No problem with that, America West and their crack management have made this place the embarrassment of the industry, sure hate to see it happen to a good airline like American. 😛
