All you guys have ever done is complain about management. Wolfe, Ganwald, now Parker. Has there ever been a management that you guys have not attacked? How is it you guys worked at such a "great" airline but always had such poor management?

Gangwal was the best, people didnt complain about him.

Colodny, Schofield, Wolf, Siegel, Lakefield, and Parker didnt care about the employees. Gangwal did.

I had several personal dealings with Rakesh, I respected him and when we came to him with issues and solutions, he would ensure it would happen.

The line hangar in Charlotte was built because mechanics showed him that when the work from GSO was moved to CLT, GSO did the work in a hangar, the mechanics at US in CLT were forced to to engine changes and other work that should be done inside, outside. When Rakesh was shown the data, we got a line hangar built.

I can share a few more experiences, but Rakesh was a people person, its a shame that he left cause of Wolf.

Wolf and him had a falling out about the direction of the company, I attended a special meeting with all the labor leaders and Gangwal in CLT after 9/11.

And yes if you met with him and had a proposal you better have your ducks all in a row.

One time we were at CCY waiting to meet with him, and the PW reps were there and you could hear a very loud discussion as the PW engines were not meeting the performance levels on the A330 as promised.
