This is the part that just never seems to sink into those thick east heads. The east pilot hired in 1988 HAD THE SAME AMOUNT OF EAST PILOTS BELOW HIM ON THE EAST LIST THAT RON HAD BELOW HIM ON THE WEST LIST!!!!! THE SAME AMOUNT, THE SAME AMOUNT

There is going to come a point when you finally realize this and stop all this preaching and begging for super seniority!!! If you have 5 people below you on your stand alone you need to be place next the guy on the other side that has 5 below him. Thats relative seniority. You are begging for a redo and want to place a east junior first officer 1988 hire was a JR FO at the time of this merger and you know it next our senior captains ad in your world thats very fair right????? Just staple 96% of us to the damn bottom huh??

I think you really need to consider the source. You said "watch the crew news" but you seem to forget who those are for, where they are done and for whose benefit. The infomation coming out of a "COMPANY SPONSORED" publications and or video are for the benefit of you therefore the information should be taken with a grain of salt.

Some America West Pilots have read the writing on the (9th circuit) wall. Take for instance the following pilot who was hired in 2004 and almost went above a pilot, never furloughed, that was hired in 1988.

His diversification after the desertification, should be a lesson to all on the West, he took the monkey off his back and put a bag on it.

When he comes back and reclaims his job your furloughed pilots stole from him, he will still be senior to the 1988 hire who abetted his job theft, and have additional income from his sales.

BTW, the 9th circuit writing is a warning to usapa, anything other than the Nic, get sued, waste money, lose "Unquestionably ripe DFR". The company wants no part of it, yet the east lunatic fringe is just begging Seham to lead them into a losing lawsuit, and the damages started when this guy started selling bags.

Totally aples and oranges, as the number 1 guy at AWA got to be #519 and the number 100 guy at AWA got to be around #850, the number 500 guy at AWA got to be #2000, etc.etc.

But I tell you what, if SW/Airtran goes DOH, I will quit donating to AOL and start paying usapa dues.
 
I think you really need to consider the source. You said "watch the crew news" but you seem to forget who those are for, where they are done and for whose benefit. The infomation coming out of a "COMPANY SPONSORED" publications and or video are for the benefit of you therefore the information should be taken with a grain of salt. When you hear Douglas speak in CLT the presentation is different when he comes home to PHX!! The only common theme is the companies lack of wanting to deal with this situation whereby you do to your own dismay. The planes leave on time everyday and management makes their money but where is yours??? I can answer that for you by simply stating that you are wasting time trying to continue NOT HONORING your agreements, You are spending time fighting me while at the very same time getting your pockets picked.

In the very end, DOH is not going to happen and not only will you have lost out on thousands in pay and benefits, you will have spent much of your own money fighting me because some third rate laywer told you he knows a way to get out of binding arbitrations. I ask that you take out the emotion and research the subject for yourself of just how many arbitrations have ever been overturned. LCC's lawyers know the answer to this and they also know what the outcome to their DJ case as well. They like the east MEC signed a transitions agreement, a contract if you will. They are hooked line and sinker!

And your contract close out wasn't it like weeks later your ALPA was tossed, but we wanted that proposal soooo bad we tossed ALPA. In the end your money is being tossed to not even 3rd rate law firm with about 2mil of YOUR money for NOTHING!

Relative seniority = basing career progression on management decisions instead of pilot experience
 
Revisionist history out West? There is a laugh. Seriously, 25% now? hmmm...did the east layoff 25% of its employees in order to make that transfer? Of course not, again, your head is in the sand and you do not know what you are talking about, even at your own airline.

Face it, you are flying 24% of your block hours on someone else's routes.
 
I'll give you 10 to one odds that that day won't come. It'll end with a judge telling them to use the Nic and when all the appeals are over they'll still be muttering about "being robbed".

Amazing how some people assume you know what is going on with all those posts, some ten grand of them. And some actually defer to your opinions as fact. After your statement about the Nic having to be used, it is absolutely apparent you have no idea what went on with Wake, then the 9th, then the icing on the cake- Parker "THIS IS FOR YOU GUYS TO DECIDE........" Even if you don't like what went on, with the Nic, you have to be pretty blind to not see what actually came down. Baptiste and Wilder. Dead On. I guarantee it. It is just a matter of time.

If you were a rep, you really had no business being one if you think this arbitration by Nicloau is going to stick. You should have listened to the Wye River Warning closely, "ALL THE RISK LIES WITH THE WEST........" You will see shortly............Clue- different bargaining agent!

You know what nic4us? Until a few months ago, you seemed to put out well thought out(if biased)posts and were one of the west guys I really gave consideration to. That all changed. When you put out b.s. like this line, it removes any credibility and it makes me want the Nic to be..., well I won't go there.

I'd like for you to tell me line by line how a formerly furloughed east pilot stole anybody's job. :angry:

At that one point in time. But then it's fair for Ron to have all those east positions and much more rapid expansion for the rest of his career?
