Want can APA do to the West that is worst than what USAPA has been trying for the last 3 years?
Do you want to find out? IMO it could be very very ugly.

Succeed? Hopefully not, but that thought did pop into my mind briefly.Want can APA do to the West that is worst than what USAPA has been trying for the last 3 years?

Hey genius,
Just what do you think APA is going to do to us? DOH cram down? Staple?
USAPA alive will do us all more harm then USAPA dead.
The sooner USAPA disappears, the better off we'll be.
You are missing the ENTIRE POINT!
When it comes time to sit down at the table with the company and the APA (maybe), USAPA will be your bargaining agent. Plain and simple. If you are not a union member, you have NO reason to gripe.
You don't have to like USAPA to be part of the process. I don't care for USAPA, but I pay my money and I vote in every election. Correct me if I am wrong...in the last election, there were just over 1200 eligible voters based in PHX. Where is the other 1/3? Sitting on the sidelines complaining I'll bet. I have no sympathy whatsoever for those individuals.

Driver,
I have a vote and have a right to complain. The "union" is doing a lousy job representing the interests of the West pilot group. Why would we want USAPA at the table when they sue and harass it's members? We've been held hostage since the Usapians came to power. It is obvious one of us is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. The majority will continue funding the fight against the oppression.
We have representation other than USAPA who will look out for our interests in any merger.
I thought you were smarter than that.
Any time a group is so divided and fighting itself they don't take the time to watch what is going on around them. In my opinion, that is what has been happening on the east for years. Now we have the Nicolau award come in to play and the fight is expanded, with the west now so blinded by their anger, that they are playing the same game.
Doug Parker is trying sweet talk the American employees. He couldn't care less about us. We are too busy fighting each other that we could have another disaster of a transition agreement that could hurt us all.
If the east pilots take a bath, the west pilots do too, even if they have the Nic rubber duckie in the tub.
LOL!!!!!
So AOL is going to belly up to the bar during seniority negotiations with APA?????
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!

PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH"
"TRUST, BUT VERIFY"
How do those statements pertain to us today?
"TRUST, BUT VERIFY" also pertains to us. We need a checks and balance system in place within USAPA because we now have so many diverse opinions and agendas. When USAPA began, we had really only two objectives; Get rid of the Nic and get a contract that pays us a fair salary and gives us a decent quality of life.
As time has progressed and we have been unable to achieve all of our goals, people began to have doubts about our course and as always each of us had a different opinion as to how we need to proceed.
The basic objectives are still there. How we achieve them isn't so clear and that's why we need people in USAPA that are not in any one camp or field of influence.

If by "bar" you mean the legal association, you are right on the money.
AOL would have more leverage than an about to be kicked off the property association of reneging malcontents.
Yes, but what can we do? The east has the majority/control, they're at the wheel. I'm (we're) just sitting in the backseat.
I can see though that we're swerving back and forth across the double line. Through the window I think I can faintly see an oncoming semi truck with the large yellow letters APA written on the grill. I keep on taping the driver on the shoulder and mentioning the oncoming traffic, like the vans with judicial process written on the side we keep sideswiping, but all the driver keeps saying is, "DOH." Or is that, "DUH," he keeps saying? I don't think this is good. I've gotten the back door open, but my seatbelt is stuck. AAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAA, I can't get my seat belt off!!!

Perhaps your have a flawed idea of what a labor union is. The west does not have to represent the interests of the east. The west is not the bargaining Agent so we have no obligation to. But usapa, run so far completely by the east does have a legal obligation to represent the west. You guys forced a vote to do just that.Back at ya in simple bold print from your post!
THE WEST DOES NOT REPRESENT INTERESTS OF THE EAST
I agree with being a member but even as a member complaining and trying to change usapa for the west has not worked. You are missing the ENTIRE POINT!
