Another nice non-reply. I assume you are implying the company was flush with pilots in '99 and '07 and could have operated without any difficulties with no hiring. Oh wait, the company hired over 1200 pilots starting in '99, and had to continue hiring off the streets after the '07 recalls. You were part of the problem on this property, get over yourself.
No, all your woes were created by those that blindly followed the MEC. They now blindly follow USAPA, like you...All our "woes" were created by ALPA
Wrong. The west refused c&r. Totally and completely. It was your clowns who walked out on a proffer of such. Okay, you get what you asked for. Sorta.Sure I will help you out. It was the east that failed to discuss conditions and restrictions. It is the east that is stealing jobs.
I do not give a damn about your scab point of view!
PS. The last whino who I did not give any money to also said "blow me", as I walked away.
Oh, and there is not a 3% raise on the way. That is just your scab union trying to get your continued support.
You must be the President of my fan club.Believe it, I know it I have spoken to friends that you have worked with, your not to well liked, but like they say your OK with that.
First Jim, my initial post was in response was to Traitor Jake in response to his statement about responsibilities. You in your ALPA/God complex chose to respond. And again, whom was actually hired was not the point in reference to being thrown under the bus. It's your continued support of the position that those pilots deserve no consideration in the integration, is where I have a problem. If those pilots/me had not accepted employment, would there be a company. The argument of someone else would have taken the job, does not change the argument. Of course I know the "Let my Daddy Vote" mantra, I can't believe you are saying you were not in that camp, and I have never seen any of your posts which would suggest otherwise. Not at all. US could have (and did) hire all the pilots it needed both in 99 and 07. If the pilots that were hired hadn't been there was no shortage of others. Face it - you're just one of the warm bodies that got the call. If it hadn't been you it would have been another warm body.
Not sure how I'm part of the problem when I wasn't in the majority that fell all over themselves voting for all the concessions (does "Let my daddy vote" ring any bells?). That majority would now be the majority of USAPA supporters. They threw the furloughed pilots under the bus (we can fly more to make up for the pay cut), the MDA pilots under the bus (sure, let US sell those 170's to a contract carrier), and the latest furloughed new hires (did I say let's fly more to make up for LOA 93 pay?).
Next time you go to work, look around the crew room. Over half of those pilots threw you and others under the bus without a second thought...not me...

Gee, Let me think Doug Mowery(ALPA) brought us LOA 93. Bill Pollock (ALPA) gave our pension away at 2:00am with no vote. Hey Jim ALPA SUX.No, all your woes were created by those that blindly followed the MEC. They now blindly follow USAPA, like you...![]()

Wow, coming to work and collecting a paycheck, you made the ultimate sacrifice for the rest of us.If the '89 hires had not come back ,and the newhires starting in '99 hadn't accepted employment at US, US probably wouldn't be here.
Help me here. Was it the east or the west who refused to discuss conditions and restrictions and who was "stealing" whose jobs?
I mean, from my point of view, the west decided to go for the gold after the lottery ticket and the east said, blow me. Classic mexican stand off, though the west pilots might now need to produce their birth certificates.
Hey, so far it is DOH for both parties, and will remain so for the predictive future. The 3% east raises will help the desire to keep rampant greed running seniority into the ground. Face it, the west pilots will likely never fly a wide body. With the downsizing of PHX, good luck, boys and girls. and I voted for Hummel from the beginning.
Have a good day, suckers.
Good luck, sucker. Oh, wait. Sucker, as in, leech? Who do be the leech? The west who was on a 30 day cliff to oblivion or the east who had all the money? Gosh. I just cannot figger out what happened here. Heh, heh.
The west lives at the whim of the east. Get used to it.

There's that "blame everyone else but me" attitude that's so endearing to you easties. All our "woes" were created by ALPA, I'll take this union any day over ALPO.
Weren't those US Air pilots that you guys elected?Gee, Let me think Doug Mowery(ALPA) brought us LOA 93. Bill Pollock (ALPA) gave our pension away at 2:00am with no vote. Hey Jim ALPA SUX.
