Always have been. But now that they see the shiny gold bars, they're scratching and clawing to get at them as fast as they can.

They're salivating frankly. (I have to be honest)
So as the voice of reason, you are probably not to popular

when it comes to putting people like that at the top  the answer is no
during the UA agreement vote his lying on Facebook was exceeded only by his sheer arrogance>I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher.

Remember reason is only a step away from insanity. My patience has its limits just like anyone else.

He is very popular and was one of the first AA TWU Fleet Service to reach out to US IAM workers.

Look at their current contract. Holidays, OT, Vacations. They already have things back that we don't.

Wasn't he one of the d-bags that came on here pimping the craft killing UAL T/A?
Yes. He's one of the Delaney Crew that put out and sold TA 1 & TA 2.

The question is now that what would be the starting point for the negotiations next year.
IMHO, depending on what the results from the AA talks and potential contract, his goal should be on two most important things (well 3):
1. Protect and defend the 22 stations and the 7 hubs (including the Express work at ORD; EWR; & IAH.)
2. Restore the pay of the members in stations that took the cuts.
On these two points, there should be no compromise on. PERIOD.

The third one should be to make sure that the new UGA does not encroach on our scope. If the union wants to organize those guys and gals, fine.  But don't try to sell us out or infringe on our scope in order to get new members.  They can take any openings (due to attrition or open spots) or a progression to mainline if they choose to do so.

Afterwards, then compensation; costs of medical; and other concerns should then be talked about. We have nothing else left to give. The metrics are so bad, and the new boss is traveling the system to get the real unfiltered feedback from the front line. The cuts have killed us, along with the work processes that has been causing an inordinate amount of OJI's.

This is what Klemm and the negotiatiors should be planning on and putting a plan of action. We need forward thinking at the table, and I hope these guys have some.......

Not for nothing but, aren't you a mechanic? Aren't you the mechanic that complained about fleet posting in the AMT thread?
Didn't the mod open a topic for you to complain, suggest, discuss labled "2015 AMT Discussion Thread"? Did the mod also open one titled "2015 Fleet Service thread"? Heck, I may be wrong on all accounts.
But it really wouldn't be a big issue if you hadn't already raised a stink about owning your own thread/topic and chastising those who dare enter your territory.
Out of respect for the mod and your fellow AMT's, I have and will continue refrain from posting in the AMT thread. Maybe you should try it if you're gonna preach it.

I  dont care what Doug makes, I care what we make. Im wearing my "ASSociation Better Get Cracking" tee shirt. The economy is heading south they better get to that table
I don't either Albert, that wasn't my point. I could care less if he made a Zillion dollars (with a "Z"), just be sure and return what I lost plus some.
He has already reneged on the "plus 7".
But yes, the Ass is dragging it's feet and it is costing us daily.

Provided there are no major work rule and scope changes I'll be happy with what the CWA got . I dont want to drag this out for years over something I might not get. It is obvious with the CWA agreement that the company wants to get this done despite what the ass is telling us The ass needs to stop playing us for idiots we know what is going on

You can bet that they will drag it out, and we will lose $$$$ on a daily basis. I realize that the two unions had to get together to sort things out, but they should have gotton a leg up on that long ago. No reason that they couldn't have compared notes before the ruling, God forbid that they should be ahead of the curve. This is like having my lawyer start to prepare for my case once he has a court date instead of from the time he knew that we had a case at all. Just doing some rough math, this delay will cost all of the members at top rate $640 per month in income for a basic 40 hr week. As much as I'm hopefull that we will get shift premiums like the CWA did, I won't hold my breath.
