You're kidding, right?  I can't remember the last time I went to a Crew News.  All the company does is tell you how great things are, are going to be, and dodge/deflect/obfuscate questions that make them uncomfortable.  What's funny too is what we are told vs. what government agencies can sometimes not be exactly the same.
 
You're in another merger boys.  Tell me, are you going to honor the arbitrated award this time?  Will you be crossing your fingers?  Will you seek (ANOTHER) "do-over"? 
 
I don't know how the arbitrators will rule, BUT I and my group will HONOR our WORD and abide by the arbitrated result (AGAIN).  What say "you'se"?  Can we trust you this time?

More truth has come out in the Town Hall meetings than you will admit. Doug and Scott kept the PHX Island Dwellers (PID) far more informed than the PHX reps. Doug and Scott told truths. David Simmons and Mitch Vaselino proved their ignorance time and again. Both told a story that Marty Harper spun to extract cash. Listen to Scott and Doug instead of Simmons.

Pilot: Binding arbitration. So the company believes in binding arbitration. We have a binding arbitration for seniority. Does the company believe in binding arbitration or not?

Parker: The binding arbitration youre talking about I think Im pretty sure what you are talking about that was an ALPA process that resulted in binding arbitration. That wasnt a company process. Thats ALPA to ALPA seniority integration that says if you cant get it resolved we go to binding arbitration is ALPA policy not company policy. If the companys in binding arbitration, yea we believe in binding arbitration.

Please don't ask again if east pilots will honor the upcoming binding arbitration Dave. It just is getting way too embarrassing.






In the US Airways America West case, it went to binding arbitration but there was a requirement as part of that that the two unions negotiate a joint contract with the company, which wasnt done yet.

And because it wasnt done yet, the side that didnt like it could prevent a joint contract from getting done. And because of that, the seniority integration never happened."
