Scott Kirby...it went to binding arbitration but there was a requirement as part of that that the two unions negotiate a joint contract with the company, which wasn’t done yet.

Two unions?

I thought we have one union. 😉

That's quite the climb up the mythical Ghiza pyramid.

Not at all mythical. In fact; most people (apparently outside of PHX anyway) have at least heard of the pyramids. The nic? = Not-so-much, and naturally, we're eagerly awaiting at least some proof that it's not merely mythical. Whatcha' got besides the constant pounding of hollow chests/empty skulls and just hopes and wishes to honestly offer there?

Indeed most children do. It's been over 8 years already; so when's your timetable set for ever growing out of it? That's obviously rhetorical, since I see yet another infantile posting from cactusboy referencing Fantasyland "terrorists". Oh well. Just have fun in PHX/"sparta" again today kids.....
Last words on death bed. Spartans, kids, dire wolves, blah, blah, blah

I love the waking up to the sounds of Usapian desperation in the morning.
Sorry again son no desperation out here son all is well this fine morning........desperation is the last PHX crew new watching that pathetic pilot of your beg Scotty to be released from PHX......remember it's just an IT issue, sure it is

Another long hot summer in PHX, to bad..

Such an incredibly and almost unimaginably huge, but entirely delusional sense of self-importance you suffer from kid....Not surprising though.

Tell me, commander..

How does a Ghiza pyramid get built? Do you start with BS first? 😉

"remember it's just an IT issue, sure it is." I laughed at that myself. Even with all their history at AWA and the past 10 years to reference; these PHX kids still can't seem to understand when they (along with any/all of the rest of the employee groups) are just being contemptuously "played"....and I can only imagine management laughs themselves to sleep at night.

I've no honest idea from personal study, and even the world's best architects and engineers have many questions there. Perhaps "you'se" could fill us all in?

I can however tell you the following; entirely unlike your childish Fantasyland variant; the real Sparta certainly wasn't built on BS.

Yet more supposed "terrorists"? While I perhaps should thank you for so clearly making my point about children, well...Ya' just gotta' be kidding me kid. I'm a bit curious here though; what's the latest count for beheadings and suicide bombing losses in "sparta"?...And just what deranged school of theater arts do you little drama queens attend?
I make it a policy not talk to scabs, I will make an exception this time. Scabs like you tried to bankrupt my co-workers with false RICO charges and falsely accuse others of ID theft. By attacking them, you attacked their families, scumbag.

“In this instance, despite a year of negotiating efforts, there was no agreement on a list. Subsequently, the Representatives choose the Undersigned as Board Chairman and opted for the Med-Arb process. Those mediation efforts, held over the course of five days in October 2006, were similarly unsuccessful. Thereafter, the Parties agreed on the arbitration ground rules, and, pursuant to the Policy, each chose a Pilot Neutral from ALPA's Pilot Neutral Master List as a nonvoting member of the Arbitration Board.

“Of course, in negotiating for a particular seniority regime, USAPA must not breach its duty of fair representation. Accordingly, if USAPA wishes to abandon the Nicolau Award and accept the consequences of this course of action, it is free to do so.  By discarding the result of a valid arbitration and negotiating for a different seniority regime, USAPA is running the risk that it will be sued by the disadvantaged pilots when the new collective bargaining agreement is finalized. An impartial arbitrator’s decision regarding an appropriate method of seniority integration is powerful evidence of a fair result. Discarding the Nicolau Award places USAPA on dangerous ground.

No. CV-10-01570-PHX-ROS ORDER; October 11, 2012

“Actually, it is USAPA that is needlessly delaying the resolution of the seniority dispute and jeopardizing the enforceability of the agreement the parties are able to reach. …….The arbitrator’s decision was to be final and binding on both pilot groups and was to be accepted by the Company so long as certain conditions were met.  The Nicolau Award has resulted in four years of litigation including a trial in federal court and jury verdict fining USAPA’s proposal for a non-Nicolau list to constitute an unlawful breach of the union’s duty of fair representation….”
