Hmmm...That depends, but I personally know of no study that ever encompassed the issue of "communication" speed within any given colony of sea sponges for ready reference. Sans the properly required empirical data; we must generously assume that it might yet take awhile for the harsh news to permeate throughout all of "sparta"....
 
P.S. No worries for them though, since just their "Integrity Matters" T-shirts should see them all seated in command of at least A330's in short order, and add to that even "Liberty" ties?...Well, those alone should guarantee them all triple 7 seats yesterday! 😉 Sometimes, even in the midst of all humankind's nonsensical yet incessant chaos?....One just has to laugh. 🙂

The burden of proof rest on those (committee members) that propose the Nic is on equal footing with the three lists in effect on 13 Dec.   Those that want to renege on their contractual commitment to the three lists need to do more than assume everyone will agree with them.  Not that any of our opinions really matter in the least, here on this message board.  
 
This is entertainment and nothing more. Those that expect more are on the fantasy train pulling into reality station soon enough.

I bet they enthusiastically buy the next AOL tie.  They will crow Nic or Northing for the next 30 years, long past the retirement of all their opponents.   In 5 to 10 years 75% of pilots will be scratching their head about the goofy ties and the legends of Nic, of which they know nothing.

At least our target audience of Usapians get the message to stick it while others see a patriotic tie 😉
